ANTICHRIST SOON TO COME

Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. (KJV)
Mark 13:22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.(KJV)

For false Christs and false prophets shall rise. . . false Christs are people claiming to be the Messiah. False prophets are people claiming to be the Prophet spoken of by Moses (Deut.18:15), or people pretending to declare the way of deliverance from the Romans, and calling the people to follow them. This happened both before and after the destruction of Jerusalem . . . and my friend these FALSE ones are very much present in today’s world.
And shall show signs and wonders . . . these FALSE ones make a big show of doing supposed miracles . . . although they really did NOT do them, because they CANNOT! They simply gave themselves up to sorcery and magic. Much of this deception is going on in today’s world. BEWARE!!!
To seduce, if it were possible, even the elect . . . the elect are those who were chosen in Christ, unto eternal life. The elect are those who truly believe in Jesus Christ, and are persistent and steadfast in following Him. I believe that it is NOT possible to seduce TRUE believers . . . although such was the power of the deception of these false Christs and false prophets, that there really was an obvious danger of it, IF it were not for the power and grace of God. (Mat.24:24).
The elect are those who keep their faith in Christ, and who, even though they might be bewildered and distressed by the signs and wonders of the pretenders, could NOT be deceived into accepting false Christs. The believer in Jesus in all ages and in all countries have this advantage . . . NO pretender anywhere can present credentials equal to Jesus, nor give us reason for any confidence in them as we have in Jesus. A TRUE believer, one of the elect, has the Holy Spirit residing within them. The devil CANNOT deceive the Holy Spirit! (Jn.14:16-17; Rom.5:5; 8:9).
Please do NOT miss what the Lord Jesus He is saying here! The so-called ability to work miracles in our day should be looked upon with great suspicion, because the next great miracle worker will NOT be Christ; he will be Antichrist with his false prophet. BEWARE!!!
"If it were possible they shall deceive the very elect." WHO are the elect? In the Scriptures there are two elect groups: the elect of the nation Israel and the elect of the church. We have to use common sense to determine which group is meant. Who has our Lord been talking about up to this point? ISRAEL. So, Israel is the elect in this verse as well . . . I think it is the Christian Jews that Jesus is speaking to. Jesus is not talking about the church of today. But I do think there is something here for us today as well. We must remember that you can fool some of the people some of the time, and you can fool all of the people some of the time . . . BUT . . . you cannot fool God's children all of the time. It cannot be done.

It is just this old woman’s opinion, but I feel that the Rapture is near. The New World Order is on its way to completion. I certainly am wise enough NOT set any dates. The Bible clearly states: Matthew 25:13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. (KJV)

NO one knows for certain WHEN the Lord Jesus will return at the Rapture; but the New World Order lays heavy upon us, and all signs point to the coming of the Antichrist. Satanism, wickedness and the occult (spurred on by drugs) is everywhere!

I believe that the Rapture will be sudden, visible ONLY to Christians, and I believe it will be unannounced and immediate, in the twinkling of an eye: . . . SO . . . BE READY!!!
1 Cor. 15:52-53 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. (KJV)
1 Thes. 4:16-17 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. (KJV) . . . This teaches that all believers will be “caught up” to meet the Lord Jesus in the clouds . . . Jesus will NOT come to the Earth at the Rapture, we shall meet Him in the clouds!

With all the wars all over everywhere . . . it seems possible that World War Three might well be on its way, and if so, it will involve nuclear bombs! I believe that nuclear war is a matter of WHEN it will happen . . . NOT IF it will happen! The Chinese, Russian and U.S. governments are building large underground cities. Many former CIA employees and the elite of the world who have inside knowledge are building underground shelters in their personal homes to escape a nuclear blast. These shelters are in high demand in expectation of imminent, unpredictable and certainly of the coming of nuclear war.

Luke 18:8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? (KJV)

I truly do believe that the Rapture is the next event on God’s time clock. We must remember that time with God is different than the way we see it. We look at time to the extent of our brief life here on Earth, while God sees time at an eternal angle!

2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. (KJV)

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing . . . be sure of it (2 Pet. 3:5). Peter cautions his readers and us, against the ignorance of scoffers, and to try to prevent it from happening to them, telling them that they would have to know this one thing, which exists in the Scripture, that being prophecy of Christ's Coming (Ps.98:9; Dan. 7:13-14; Zec.14:4; Mat.10:23; 26:64; Mark 13:26,35; 14:62; Luke 9:26; 19:15; 21:27; John 21:22; Acts 1:11; 1 Cor. 11:26; 15:23; Heb. 9:28; 2 Pet. 3:10). Then see: Rev.19:11-21.
The scoffers' objection was then and now, that much time had come and gone since those prophecies, and Jesus still had NOT come!
The reply of the apostle is, for that which may seem to be a long time to us is a brief period with God.
That one day is with the Lord as a thousand years . . . a similar thought occurs in: Psalms 90:4 For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night. (KJV) . . . What Peter is trying to get across to his readers is, a thousand years is a LONG period of time . . . to us humans . . . but to our eternal God, nothing is past, nothing is future, but all things present, there is NO difference of time, so a thousand years to Him is like a blink of an eye with us. The scoffers refuse to believe this fact, so they just cannot see all the centuries of the Lord's delay in coming. It just does NOT make any sense at all to those who are Biblically ignorant.

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (KJV)

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise . . . God will NOT postpone the fulfilling of this Promise, or any other Promise beyond the appointed time. When God says it is time, Jesus shall return! Simple as that! We must believe in faith!
As some men count slackness . . . those who scoff, because of Christ's not yet coming, question IF He would come at all . . . as if God has changed His mind or would not fulfill it! There are some believers who have weak faith, and their sufferings being great, might grow impatience, and think Christ slow in coming to avenge their cause, and give them their reward. Pray to God to increase your faith (Luke 17:5).
But is long-suffering to usward . . . to TRUE believers, the elect, God's children.
Not willing that any should perish . . . It is not God's will that you or anyone else should perish. Perish = to destroy, destroy utterly, put to death, ruin. God wants NO one to go to Hell! He does NOT want to condemn anyone to Hell!

John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (KJV)
John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. (KJV)
John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. (KJV)
1 John 5:10-12 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. 11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. (KJV)

Do you really SEE what each of these verses say? You must BELIEVE what God says, OR He shall condemn you to Hell . . . NOT because He wants to, but because YOU chose not to believe what He clearly says!

I think if you are reading these words, it is because God does NOT want you to be condemned to Hell. He wants your name in the book of life (Rev.20:15). He wants you to pass from death unto life (John 5:24). And you can do that, just turn to Christ Jesus today and receive the wonderful salvation that He has for you. Your name can be placed in the book of life (Rev.20:15) ONLY when you are born again spiritually into the family of God (John 1:12-12; 3:3-8).

The Rapture is imminent! It COULD happen today! NO one knows when Jesus will come in the clouds to take the TRUE church home! The Bible warns us over and over again to WATCH! Watch what? How you live my friend! Watch . . . because we do NOT know when He shall come for us! Watch: (Mat.24:42-43; 25:13; 26:41; Mark 13:33-35,37-38; Luke 21:36; Acts 20:31; 1 Cor.16:13; 1 Thes,5:6; 1 Pet.4:7).
