Faith in Doctrines of Demons leads to Fear and Death!

1 Timothy 4:1-5 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; [2] Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; [3] Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. [4] For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: [5] For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. (KJV) . . . There is a multitude of evidence to prove that the Word-Faith message is a dangerous soul-destroying, damnable heresy that simply does not work, nor does it fulfill its promises!

Word-faith teachings are audatious, arrogant and FALSE! It is NOT backed up by the Holy Word of Almighty God. It has been generated by a men drawing from each other's teachings with a joining of Christian theology, mysticism and Gnosticism all tied together by one of the most imaginary and far-fetched methods of Scripture interpretation ever thought up. All of this ludicrous movement is richly supported by a mutual admiration society among the most popular Word-Faith teachers that warns critics to "touch not the Lord's anointed," often under dire threats of divine displeasure. How absurd!

The Word-Faith movement produces great strife in the TRUE body of Christ. So many well-meaning Christians are in bondage to this unscriptural belief. The end result of Word-Faith teachings, leaves many people full of confusion, guilt and fear . . . the same things that the Word-Faith movement profess and promise to remove. BEWARE! Take a GOOD look before you leap!

The time is way over-due for Christians to take a serious look at the teachings of this cultic Word-Faith movement. Not nearly enough has been written or said about the false teachings about Christ, our precious Saviour and Lord. Some of these damnable doctrines are utterly blasphemous! Christians criticize cults such as the Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, the Seventh Day Adventists, etc. because of their unscriptural views of the Godhead. Christians expose the Mormon teachings declaring that men can become gods (the first Satanic lie! Gen.3:5) or the J W's heretical view that Jesus is "a god", but NOT Almighty God, and was pre-existent as Michael the archangel. Shouldn't Christians stand up against this blasphemous Word-Faith movement who have equally heretical and dangerous teachings?

Word-Faith teachers go to much trouble trying to explain the nature of Paul's thorn in the flesh and why God said "NO" (2 Co.12:7). Paul prays three times for removal of this evasive thorn in the flesh that hindered him . . . and three times God answers "NO." Word faith people will NOT accept that! They are forever making excuses! My friend, there are MANY people who pray for healing and do not receive it! IF God does not heal a person, He has a very good reason! We are NEVER to question our Maker! Word faith people must not think God can say "NO"!

God answers prayer in three ways: 1 Yes. 2. No. 3. Wait a while. We are to pray in God's will! IF it is not God's will . . . believe me, you do NOT want it! Word faith people are too proud to pray in God's will! We must humble ourselves . . . OR one day God shall flatten us! James 4:6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. (KJV) . . . Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. (KJV) . . . When we have put something in the hands of God, let it there! Do not retrieve it and try to "do it yourself."

Is the Word of Faith movement Biblical? ABSOLUTELY NOT!

Word of Faith teaching goes against the Holy Word of God! It is a movement that is heavily influenced by a number of high-profile pastors and teachers such as Kenneth Hagin, Benny Hinn, Kenneth and Gloria Copeland, Paul and Jan Crouch, and Fred Price, Tommy Tenney, C. Peter Wagner, Joyce Meyer, Marilyn Hickey, Joel Osteen, John Avanzini, Robert Tilton, Charles Capps, Paul Yonggi Cho, Jesse Duplantis, Norvel Hayes, Jack Hayford, T.D. Jakes, E.W. Kenyon, Mike Murdock, Rod Parsley, Frederick K.C. Price, Jerry Savelle, Dwight Thompson, T. L. Osborne, Morris Cerullo, Casey Treat, Dwight Thompson, Pat Robertson, Oral and Richard Roberts, etc. etc.

The Word of Faith movement grew out of the Pentecostal movement in the late 20th century. Its founder was E. W. Kenyon, who studied the metaphysical New Thought teachings of Phineas Quimby. Mind science . . . "name it and claim it" fits well with the movement and its emphasis on the supernatural. My friend, the supernatural in Word-faith is the devil . . . NOT Almighty God! The combined and created wierd mixture of Christianity and mysticism is cultic and blasphemous. Kenneth Hagin then studied under Kenyon and made the Word of Faith movement what it is today. Although individual teachings range from complete heresy to absolutely ridiculous.

The heart of the Word-Faith movement is the belief in the "force of faith." They erroneously believe that words can be used to manipulate the faith-force, which actually create what they believe to be what the Bible promises (health and wealth). Laws that supposedly govern the faith-force are said to operate independently of God's sovereign will and that God Himself is subject to these laws. Actual stupidity! This idolatry, turning their faith . . . into a god.

Their theology strays further and further from the Bible, claiming that God created human beings in His literal, physical image as little gods. WRONG!!! John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. (KJV) . . . God the Father is a Spirit! We do have an eternal spirit within us, BUT we are NOT little gods! What blasphemy! We do NOT have the ability to manipulate any faith-force to become prosperous in all areas of life. YES! Many times sickness, sin, and failure are the result of a lack of faith, BUT they are NEVER remedied by claiming God's Promises into existence. The Word of Faith movement exalts man to god-status and reduces God to man-status. This is a false representation of TRUE Christianity! Word of Faith teaching does NOT take into account what is found in Scripture. With Word-faith people, personal revelation, NOT Scripture, is relied upon in order to come up with such ridiculous beliefs, proving its heresies!

To contradict Word of Faith teaching is simple! Just read the Bible. Only God alone is the Sovereign Creator of the Universe (Gen.1:3; 1 Tim.6:15), and He does NOT need faith . . . He is the object of our faith (Mark 11:22; Heb.11:3). God is spirit, and does not have a physical body (John 4:24, above). Yes, man was created in the image of God (Gen.1:26, 27; 9:6), BUT . . . we are NOT gods, nor does this make us little god or divine in any way, shape or form!

Only God is divine (Gal.4:8; Isa.1:6-11, 43:10, 44:6; Eze. 28:2; Psalm 8:6-8). Christ Jesus is Eternal, and He is the Only Begotten Son of God the Father, and He is the ONLY incarnation of God (John 1:1, 2, 15; 1:14, 18; 3:16; 1 John 4:1). In Him, Jesus, dwelt the fullness of the Godhead bodily (Col.2:9). When Jesus became a Man, He gave up the glory and safety of Heaven . . . BUT He did NOT ever give up His divinity (Phil.2:6-7) . . . although He chose to withhold His power while walking the Earth as Man . . . to leave us an example! We are to imitate Jesus in our daily lives. Jesus, NOT once, ever thought of me, me, me! He was NEVER selfish! His heart was full of love and concern for others, NOT Himself! Jesus was NEVER selfish or proud! And when he prayed, He ALWAYS prayed "Thy will be done, Father."
Mat.6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. (KJV)

Luke 11:2 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. (KJV)

Mat.26:42 He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done. (KJV)

Luke 22:41-42 And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, [42] Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. (KJV)

Heb. 10:7. . . 9 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. . . . . [9] Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. (KJV) . . . Word-faith people do NOT pray in God's will as the Lord Jesus and His Holy Word teaches us to do!

The Word of Faith movement deceives multitudes of naive people, causing them to reach after a way of life and faith that is absolutely NOT biblical. At its core is the the devil, and it is the same lie Satan the serpent told in the Garden and has been telling ever since!

Gen.3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.(KJV) . . . “Ye shall be as gods.” It is sad indeed that countless millions in the Word of Faith movement are still listening to Satan and his LIES and DECEIT. Our hope . . . our ONLY hope, is in the Lord, NOT in your own words, NOT even in our own faith.

Gal. 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, [23] Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. (KJV) . . . FAITH is a "fruit of the Spirit" . . . we CANNOT produce faith on our own, We CANNOT control it with our measly power, and we certainly CANNOT command God to do anything! Absolutely ridiculous! BEWARE!!!

Eph.2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: (KJV) . . . Salvation is a GIFT from God! But the faith that saves us, also is a GIFT from God!

Gal. 5:24-26 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. [25] If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. [26] Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another. (KJV)

My friend, be ever so careful of the ever increasing Word of Faith movement, and any church that aligns itself with Word of Faith teachings.

False teachers distort the Truth about Jesus and preach a different Jesus, a different spirit than the Holy Spirit, and a different gospel than God’s one and only way of salvation. Because the Bible is God’s Word and is never wrong, those who teach anything different from what it says, are WRONG and are misleading people. BEWARE! False teachers do NOT teach the TRUTH about Jesus. They teach another Jesus (2 Cor.11:4; Gal.1:7-8), and another gospel. BEWARE!!! They are the devil's children (1 Jn.3:10), and will lead you to HELL!!!
