HOMOSEXUAL SIN

Romans 1:24-32 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: [25] Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. [26] For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: [27] And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. [28] And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; [29] Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, [30] Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, [31] Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: [32] Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. We are NOT puppets on a string to God. He allows us to make our own decisions. be they good or bad. It is a good thing, in many ways that He gives us a free will, but in many other ways, it can couse us grief in this life . . . and much worse . . . in the life to come! I truly do believe that we are given this life on Earth to decide where we will spend eternity. I believe this with my whole heart; that is why I reach out to people with the Gospel of Jesus as I do. He does not want anyone to go to Hell, that is why He taught SO much on Hell. He taught more on Hell than He did any other subject. Since He is my Master, and I am to imitate and obey Him (Mat.28:19), I go and I tell! See our topics about Hell.

Since we can make decisions, choices, for ourselves, the above Scripture really scares me. In this brief Passage, do you see how many times it states: "God gave them up" in verse24 and 26. "God gave them over to a reprobate mind" in verse 28. He will make many attempts to touch a person's heart with the Holy Spirit, but after so long, He will simply give up on them. In other words, He will honor that person's wishes.

God will allow them to do whatever shameful things their evil hearts desire. And as a result, they will do vile, immoral and degrading things with each other's bodies. Instead of believing the Truth about God, they deliberately choose to believe lies. Some worship the things God made but not the Creator Himself, who is to be praised forever. This is why God abandons them to their shameful desires. Even women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulge in sex with each other. And men, instead of having normal sexual relationships with women, burn with lust for each other. Men do shameful things with other men and, as a result, suffered within themselves the penalty they so richly deserved. Do you think AIDS just popped up out of nowhere??? NO way!!! It is a plague from God!!! When people refuse to acknowledge and obey God. He will abandon them to their evil minds and let them do things that should never be done. Their lives become full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, murder, envy, fighting, deception, malicious behavior, lies and gossip. They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud and boastful. They are forever inventing new ways of sinning; and disobedience to parents is common and rampant. People break their promises, and are heartless and unforgiving. They are fully aware of God's death penalty for those who do these things, yet they go right ahead and do them anyway. And worse yet, they encourage others to do them too.

How anyone can say that homosexuality is OK, is beyond me. I KNOW what the Bible states, and according to God, it is an utter abomination to Him!

People CHOOSE to reject God, and God allows them to do it. God does not usually stop us from making choices against His will. He will not force us to do anything! IF we decide to go against Him, we will become slaves to our own rebellious choices. Does life without God look like freedom to You? You had better look again! There is no worse slavery, than slavery to sin.

People are imclined to believe lies that back up their own selfish, personal beliefs. We need to be very careful about what we allow ourselves to believe. TV, music, movies, and all the rest of the media often present sinful life-styles and unwholesome values. It's OK they seem to say. Everybody's doing it. We find ourselves bombarded by attitudes and beliefs that are TOTALLY opposed to the Bible. Be careful about what or who, you allow to form your opinions. The Bible should be your only standard of truth. Measure all other opinions in light of its teachings.

God's plan is for people to have NATURAL sexual relationships, not someone lusting after another of the same sex, or sex outside the sanctity of marriage. Sex is a 'gift' that God gives us to use in marriage only. But, unfortunately, SIN distorts the natural use of God's gifts. Sexual sin is not only denying God, but also denying the way He made you. When people say that any sex act is acceptable as long as nobody gets hurt,they are fooling no one but themselves! ALL sin hurts people. Somewhere down the line, someone will get hurt!

Homosexuality (to exchange or abandon NATURAL relations of sex) was as widespread in Paul's time as it is in ours. Many pagan practices encouraged it, then and now! God is willing to receive anyone who comes to Him in faith, and Christians should love and accept others no matter what their background. But remember, homosexuality is strictly forbidden in the Bible.

Leviticus 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. [KJV] . . . You should NOT practice homosexuality . . . it is a detestable sin!

Homosexuality is considered an ACCEPTABLE practice by millions in the world today, even by some pastors (??) and churches (??). But society does not set the standard for God's law. Many homosexuals believe that their desires are normal and that they have a right to express them. But God does NOT say this, nor does He encourage us to fulfill all our desires (even normal ones). Any desires that violate His law must be controlled.

If you have abnormal desires, you can resist them. Avoid places or activities you know will kindle temptations of this kind. NEVER underestimate the power of Satan to tempt you, and you must realize the potential for serious harm if you yield to these temptations. God can and will forgive any sexual sins, the same way that He forgives all other sins. You must surrender yourself to the grace and mercy of God. Ask Him to show you the way out of sin and into the light of His freedom and His love. Prayer, Bible study, and strong support in a TRUE Christian church can help you to gain strength ot resist these powerful temptations. If you are already deeply involved in homosexual behavior, seek help from a trustworthy born again pastor. YES! I know! There are homosexual "pastors" . . . they shall be judged by God much more severly than someone who is not a pastor! (Mat.18:6)

Most people instinctively know when they do wrong, but so many simply do not care. Some people will even risk an early death for the freedom to indulge in their lusts now. "I know it's wrong, but I really want it," they say; or "I know it's dangerous, but it's worth the risk." For such people, a great part of the "fun' is going against God's law. But, deep down inside, they know that sin (ALL SIN) deserves the punishment of eternal death in Hell.

The corruption of mankind can be measured by his perversion of sex. It is so sad to say, but many so-called 'churches' today embrace and defend people's 'rights' to sex, instead of condemning it as God does in the Biblel. Gross immorality is rampant (in God's eyes), yet our 'society' accepts it as good and right. God said it was wrong in 1900 B.C. (Genesis 19). and He said it was wrong in the apostle Paul's time (Romans 1:24;32), and He says it is wrong NOW! God does NOT change, EVER! (Psalm 33:11; 102:27; Mal.3:6; Heb.1:2; James 1:17).

Romans 1:26-27 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: [27] And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. [KJV] . . . All unnatural passions are a dishonor and a disgrace, and are evil and corrupt to God, no matter what public opinion is!

Three times in the Romans Passage, it states that "God gave them up" (Rom.1:24,26,28). God will give everyone a chance to repent of their sin, and most often He gives MANY chances! But there will come a time that God will just let them wallow in their sin and wickedness.

In this evil and corrupt time, the Truth of our Lord's Words is clearly shown.

John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. [KJV] . . . The Truth and Light of Jesus is NOT what people want. They want to do their own 'thing'. People today are getting farther and farther away from our loving God, and closer and closer to God's Holy wrath. People do not want to keep God in their knowledge, for deep down they know what they are doing is wrong, and God states that He will punish ALL sin! There shall come a time when everyone will lament over his/her wicked corruptions, and over his/her secret hate of the will of God.

This will happen in one of two ways:

(1) Turning from sin and to Jesus (being born again).
(2) In the everlasting destruction of Hell.

One day, you will be sorry for your actions; I promise you! I pray it will be #1 for you. We must submit to Christ by faith, and be renewed by His Divine power. We must do the Truth and come to the Light!

John 3:21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. [KJV] . . . Those who see they are wrong, and do what is right come gladly to the Light.

Time on Earth is SO brief! This time is given to us by God, to decide where we will spend eternity. If you continue in wickedness, you are on the broad road to an eternal Hell! Matthew 7:12-14 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. [13] Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: [14] Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. [KJV]

Repent, turn around, go away from sin and evil, and do what God would have you do; and you will spend eternity in Heaven with Jesus and all His goodness.

John 14:2-3 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. [3] And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. [KJV]

If God were to send an angel to deliver a "state of the world" message, what do you think he would say?
How do you think people today determine between right and wrong? Is it selfishness and greed? Or do you think they have god's will in mind?
Why do so many people say they are "Christians" and believe in God, yet go their own way and do their own thing? James 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. [KJV] Even demons believe there is a God!
What does God do when people ignore and disobey Him? Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; [KJV]
In what way does God reveal Himself to people? (Rom.1:20).
Are ALL people accountable to God?
What is the main problem people have in their relationship with God? (Rom.1:21-22).
What happen to the hearts and minds of people who reject God? (Rom.2:5; Heb3:13).
Do you honestly think it is OK to "go with the flow"?
Does God really hold us personally responsible for our sin?

Genesis 13:13 But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the Lord exceedingly. [KJV]

Genesis 19:23-24 The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot entered into Zoar. [24] Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven; [KJV] . . . Lot and his family were allowed to leave. Everyone else died!

Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. [KJV] . . . Homosexuality is a SIN, and an ABOMINATION to God.

1 Cor. 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, [KJV] . . . NONE of the above will go to Heaven!

1 Kings 14:24 And there were also sodomites in the land: and they did according to all the abominations of the nations which the Lord cast out before the children of Israel. [KJV] . . . Sodomy (homosexuality) is an ABOMINATION to God!

Judges 19:22 Now as they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the city, certain sons of Belial, beset the house round about, and beat at the door, and spake to the master of the house, the old man, saying, Bring forth the man that came into thine house, that we may know him. [KJV] . . . NOT the sons of God . . .but sons of the devil!

2 Peter 2:4-6 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; [5] And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; [6] And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; [KJV] . . . Why would God spare you, if you REFUSE to turn from your sin?

SODOMY

God made sex to be enjoyed by a man and a woman who are married. Sodomy is ANY sexual intercourse regarded as abnormal; such as between persons of the same sex or between a person and an animal. A sodomite is ANY person who practices sodomy. It is an absolute ABOMINATION to God. People insist that that times have changed, BUT, God NEVER changes! What He considered an abominationand a sin in the days of old, He still considers a sin today! (Mal.3:6; Heb.6:17; James 1:17). ANY person who insists on living such a life is doomed to Hell unless they repent (turn away from their sin). See: Hell is real.

Genesis 19:5-8 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them. [6] And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him, [7] And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly. [8] Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof. [KJV]

Exodus 22:19 Whosoever lieth with a beast shall surely be put to death. [KJV]

A SODOMITE is anyone who imitates the wicked, immoral ways of Sodom

They shall be judged accordingly. 1 Cor. 6:9-11 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, [10] Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. [11] And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. [KJV] . . . Those who do wrong will have no share in the Kingdom of God. Don't fool yourselves.Those who indulge in sexual sin, are idol worshipers, adulterers, male prostitutes, homosexuals, thieves, greedy people, drunkards, abusers, or swindlers, none of these will have a share in the Kingdom of God. But remember, ANY sin can and will be forgiven by God IF a person TRULY repents!

Isaiah 3:9 The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves. [KJV]

ALL the Wicked Shall Be Condemned to Hell

God shall bring the flaming judgment of Hell upon ALL those who do not know the Lord and refuse to obey His Gospel. The shall be punished with everlastion destruction, forever separated from the Lord and His goodness and love, and from His glorious power.
