First, I want to say that I know I will offend many people, and I will be hated for what I say. But, I believe the Bible, and I have taught it for about 40 years, and it clearly says that homosexuality is a SIN! I bring only the Truth of God's Holy Word to you. Truth is Truth . . . whether you believe it or not. I CANNOT make you believe the Truth, but I MUST tell you what God says or He will punish me!

What does the Bible say about Same-Sex Marriage?

The Bible does not mention same-sex marriage. BUT . . . the Bible clearly tells us that homosexuality is a sin. Homosexuality is an immoral and unnatural sin. It is clear that God condemns the abominable sin of homosexuality.

Genesis 19:4-5 But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter: [5] And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them. (KJV) . . . EVERYONE except Lot and his two daughters in Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed!

Leviticus 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. (KJV) . . . Homosexuality is an ABOMINATION to God!

Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. (KJV) . . . Homosexuality is an ABOMINATION to God!

Romans 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: [27] And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. (KJV) IF a person continues on in homosexuality, God will give them up . . . He will eventually turn His Back on you.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, [10] Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. [11] And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. (KJV) . . . Homosexuals are unrighteous and will NOT inherit the Kingdom of God . . . Heaven!

Jude 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. (KJV) . . . ALL the homosexuals were destroyed in the fire and brimstone judgment from God. ALL those people shall one day stand before the great white throne judgment and be cast into the lake of fire! (Rev.20:11-15)

Because homosexual desires and actions are boldly condemned in the Bible, it is clear that homosexuals same-sex “marrying” is NOT God’s will, and it IS sinful and shall be judged.

Any time that the Bible speaks of marriage, it is ALWAYS between a male and a female. The first mention of marriage, Genesis 2:24, describes it as a man leaving his parents and being united to his wife . . . a woman! In Passages that give instructions regarding marriage, such as 1 Cor.7:2-16 and Eph.5:23-33, the Bible clearly states that marriage is between a man and a woman. Biblically speaking, marriage is supposed to be the LIFE TIME union of a man and a woman. Many couples today do not even consider this before they marry, entering the union with the WRONG perspective: "If it doesn't work out, I'll get a divorce." Marriage was set up by God to be permanent and produce children. HOW can same-sex marriages do that?

Genesis 1:27-28 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. [28] And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. (KJV)

Genesis 8:17-18 Bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth. [18] And Noah went forth, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him: (KJV)

With the “natural” purpose of sexual intercourse being procreation, it is only common sense that ONLY a sexual relationship between a man and a woman can fulfill this purpose . . . NOT artificial insemination. Even nature argues against gay marriage . . . animals do not go to the same sex, but to the opposite sex.

God will allow people to do whatever shameful things their evil hearts desire (Rom.1:24-32). And as a result, they will do vile, immoral and degrading things with each other's bodies. Instead of believing the Truth about God, they deliberately choose to believe lies. Some worship the things God made but not the Creator Himself, Who is to be praised forever. This is why God abandons them to their shameful desires. Even women turn against the natural way to have sex and instead indulge in sex with each other. And men, instead of having normal sexual relationships with women, burn with lust for each other. Men do shameful things with other men and, as a result, suffered within themselves the penalty they so richly deserved. Do you think AIDS just popped up out of nowhere? It is a plague from God! It is judgment from God! When people refuse to acknowledge and obey God, He WILL abandon them to their evil minds and let them do things that should never be done, and He WILL judge them. I really feel badly for the innocent victims.

Giving authorization to same-sex marriage is giving approval to the homosexual lifestyle, which the Bible clearly and consistently condemns as sinful. ALL TRUE Christians should stand boldly and firmly AGAINST the repulsive idea of same-sex marriage. There are strong and logical arguments against same-sex marriage from contexts completely separate from the Bible. One does not have to be an evangelical Christian to recognize that marriage is between a man and a woman.

The Bible clearly states that marriage is ordained by God to be between a man and a woman (Gen.2:21-24; Mat.19:4-6). Same-sex marriage is a horrid perversion of the institution of marriage and an offense to the God who created marriage. As Christians, we are NOT to overlook, go along with or ignore sin. Instead we are to share the love of God and tell of the forgiveness of sins that is available to all, including homosexuals, through Christ Jesus. We are to speak the Truth in love (Eph.4:15) and fight for Truth in Jesus' Name.

1 Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: (KJV) . . . As TRUE Christians, when we make a stand for Truth and the result is personal attacks, insults, and persecution, we should remember the Words of Jesus: John 15:18-19 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. [19] If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. (KJV)

Matthew 5:10-12 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. [11] Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. [12] Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. (KJV)

It is eternally wrong that the pro 'same sex marriage movement' is working to lawfully arrange homosexual's twisted distortion of marriage. Their horrific agenda will end up being forced into religious institutions around us, as well as force children to accept immorality in schools. Evidence for this is already seen in the forced homosexual indoctrination of kindergarteners' in California and Massachusetts. Same sex marriage laws will eventually punish anyone who oppose it. The homosexual community, which grows day by day, must be warned! They are at war with Christ Jesus, who utterly condemns anyone who cause children to stumble into sin.

Matthew 18:6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. (KJV) BEWARE!!!

The Bible defines marriage as a union of one male and one female, which makes for the foundation for healthy, whole family life. God’s Word is firm in this.
People revise and twist Biblical Passages to condone the practice of homosexuality or other sexual sins.
Biblical texts assert, and biology confirms that procreation (the sustaining of the human race) happens ONLY within the male-female union. God established marriage between Adam, a male, and Eve, a female, as the pattern for all time, NOT Adam and Steve. Marriage of a man and woman was established by God at the beginning of Creation.
We all live in a fallen world and the effects of sin are all around. But our sexual actions, choices and practices must be holy and pure before God. God-honoring sexual expression should be reserved for one man and one woman in a monogamous, covenantal, life-long marriage. Anyone who chooses to go against God and “do” homosexual acts shall one day stand before judgment and receive their just punishment (Rev.20:11-15). A homosexual act is simply that . . . an ACT. All acts involve choices. Do NOT make wrong choices!

TRUE Christians CHOOSE to be Christ-like even when we are falsely accused and slandered. When accused by those who hate and utterly reject God’s Truth, we will, by the grace of God, boldly continue to work long and hard and faithfully for the Bible’s definition of marriage, while we respond truthfully in love to those who criticize and condemn us.

Proverbs 15:1 A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger. (KJV)

TRUE Christians believe God knew what He was doing when He defined marriage as the union of one man and one woman freely and totally committed to each other as companions for life, where the two become one and a family is formed. God prohibits ANYTHING that perverts His plan, which includes not only homosexual acts and relationships but premarital, extramarital, and recreational sex by heterosexuals.

The coming results of legalizing same-sex marriages are huge.

Newspapers could be sued for refusing to run same-sex wedding announcements.
Public schools could be pressured to include same-sex "marriage" as an alternative as valid as opposite-sex marriage when dealing with marriage and family life issues.
Businesses, even if they have a religious objection, could be required to grant the same benefits to same-sex couples that they give to married employees.
Churches will be forced to marry homosexual couples, and will lose their religious freedom, and their tax-free status if pastors take a stand and refuse to marry homosexual couples.
Hate crimes protections to homosexuals and transgendered individuals is the first step of what supporters hope will be a major victory for the gay rights movement. The penalty for a hate crime could be as much as 10 years in prison or, in some cases, up to a life sentence.

Emergent church leader says 'gay' can be Biblical lifestyle . . . ??????

One of the key leaders of today's most modern and accepted church movement has opened an Internet discussion on the issue of same-sex marriage with the bold proclamation that he believes "gay, lesbian, bisexual, transsexual and queer" individuals can and should live out their sexuality in – and blessed by – the Christian church. . . .

God CANNOT and will NOT bless a homosexual, so . . . A TRUE Christian CANNOT bless a homosexual!

"I now believe that GLBTQ can live lives in accord with biblical Christianity (as least as much as any of us can!)," writes author and church leader Tony Jones, "and that their monogamy can and should be sanctioned and blessed by church and state." . . . A homosexual CANNOT live a life in accord with Biblical Christianity!

This movement threatens the very fabric of our society. From Rosie O'Donnell to spokespersons from the Gay and Lesbian Alliance, gay marriage proponents are quick to tell us that opposition to gay marriage is not only "hateful" but an infringement of homosexuals' civil rights. With each passing day, we hear more and more inciting remarks from activists who are bound and determined to change forever the definition of traditional marriage as we know it.

What about the RIGHTS of TRUE Christians? We do NOT hate homosexuals! We hate their ACTS! To us it is WRONG! To us it is SIN! Don't we have the RIGHT to believe the Bible? Don't we have the RIGHT of free speech? Don't we have ANY rights? What is happening in America?

Summary of Biblical Arguments Against Gay Marriage

1. God lists “homosexual offenders” among “the wicked” (1 Cor.6:9).
2. God lists “homosexual offenders” among those who He says will “not inherit the kingdom of God” (1 Co.6:9).
3. History proves that homosexuality has incurred God’s destructive wrath upon an entire city (Gen. 19:4-5, 11-13).
4. God’s Word defines the men of Sodom as “wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly” because of their men having sex with men (Gen.13:13; 19:5).
5. God calls Sodom’s sin as “giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh” (Jude 1:7). ANY society that remains in perversion (Sodom, Gomorrah) are on the road to destruction.
6. God’s Word identifies husband-wife relations as “therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife” (Gen.2:24) and homosexual relations as “men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another” (Rom.1:26-27) . . . sexual perversion!
7. God’s Word also rebukes “they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them” homosexuality (Rom.1:32).
8. Jesus settled the marriage issue once for all, declaring that God had made them “male and female ... a man ... [and] his wife.” Mat.19:4-5 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, [5] And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?
