ABORTION

I have not had an article about abortion on our web site before. I should have, but I haven't. Recently I was browsing the internet, checking out an article written by a pastor. I was horrified at some of the things I found. Some of the graphic details actually made me sick! The pictures were horrendous. The sermon by the pastor was absolutely right! I figured it was time for me to write an article. If what I write would save one little baby's life, praise God!

I will not place any of those horrific pictures on this web site. You can easily go to web sites where you can view these if you so desire. I will list some addresses at the end of this article.

In God's eyes, taking the life of another is WRONG! Those of us who teach the Bible, must tell it like it is. ALL sin shall be punished, this is a fact, whether a person decides to believe this or not. Just because a person has made up their mind that God will not judge their sin, God will not cast them into Hell, does not make it true. God most certainly shall judge ALL sin, and those who reject the Saviour, Jesus Christ, shall most certainly be cast into the Lake of Fire (HELL). Your name automatically goes into the book of life when you trust and accept Jesus into your heart and life. You must trust Him, yes . . . but, you also must obey Him! ALL people not registered in this Book, are doomed for the pits of Hell. YES! There absolutely is a HELL!

"Abortion" actually means expulsion of any premature human fetus. Many horrific forms of abortion are made available to women today. "Abortion" is forcing a living child from a mother's womb, killing it. Murder!

In 1973, the Supreme Court of the United States of America, gave its Roe v. Wade decision, which in turn simply legalized abortion in all 50 states, during ALL 9 months of pregnancy . . . for ANY reason whatsoever . . . medical, social, ANY reason!

It has been over three decades since abortion was made legal. It is really strange to me that people of this country thought it was unheard of that Hitler killed 6,000,000 Jews in the Holocaust, yet they never even bat an eye that far more than 6 times that many lives have been killed in the American Abortion Holocaust! The names of these tiny innocent victims would fill the Viet Nam Veteran's Wall over 700 times! Yet people have simply accepted this horrible, murderous procedure as normal.

The heroes of America's youth is perverted rock stars strung out on drugs and morally bankrupt TV and movie stars.

Our society tells our kids there is no God, that they are descendants of animals! Then people wonder what happened when a teen takes a gun and goes on a rampage and kills his/her parents and classmates. People are amazed when a teen has a baby, than dumps it into a garbage can or dumpster. Where were her parents in all this? Too busy with their own lives! That's where! Kids today are not taught about God and His Word. They are not taught certain things are wrong to do in this life. They are not taught that sin shall be punished! They are not taught that there is a Hell. See our article on Hell is real. Most of today's kids grow up without discipline and without love! Is it is any wonder that people have abortions? They do NOT know the meaning of love. They have no compassion in their hearts. All they think of is ME, ME, ME! Pleasure comes first over anything else. And they think that "My body is mine. I will do with it as I please."

ABORTION DEVALUES LIFE

Consider this: If someone took a pregnant female dog, and abused and tortured her like a woman is abused in an abortion facility, then ripped away her puppies from her, and the law found out about it, that person would be arrested and charged with extreme cruelty! But that does NOT happen when abortions are done on women. That, my friend is legal. You will NOT be arrested if you consent to an abortion, or perform an abortion.

Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. [KJV]

Psalm 139:16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them. [KJV] . . . God sees a baby before it is born.

Most (the vast majority) of all abortions performed today are done for social, NOT medical reasons! The woman decides it's not the right time for a baby in her life, or her partner wants the abortion for some reason (money, child support), he doesn't want his wife to find out he's been messing around, etc.

Abortion ends the unwanted child by destroying and removing the growing fetus. In other words, they murder the unborn baby! The baby's heart has already began to beat at about 31 days after conception. Surgical abortions are not usually performed before 7 weeks (49 days). By that time, the little baby has arms and legs that can be identified. It also displays measurable brain waves at about 40 days. It is during the 7th through the 10th week, that most abortions are done. Fingers are seen, and the baby's face is visibly human.

The life of a baby begins at conception (fertilization), when the sperm and ovum meet to form a single cell. If a baby's life is not interrupted, he/she will one day become an adult. In America alone over a million lives are taken each year.

Suction Aspiration is a surgical procedure done in the first trimester.

Suction aspiration (vacuum curettage) is used in most first trimester abortions. A powerful suction tube with a sharp cutting edge is inserted into the woman's womb through a dilated cervix. The suction cuts in pieces the baby's tiny body and tears the placenta from the wall of the uterus, sucking blood, fluid, tissue and fetal parts into a collection bottle. The woman's uterus is in danger of being punctured during this ordeal, which may cause hemorrhage and more surgery. This is a frequent complication of this procedure.

Personally, I cannot see how any so-called doctor could be a part of this murder. A doctor is supposed to save lives, NOT destroy them!

Dilatation (Dilation) and Curettage (D&C) is also a surgical procedure done in the first trimester.

In this procedure, the cervix is dilated (stretched) to permit the insertion of a loop-shaped steel knife. The body of the tiny baby is cut into pieces and removed; the placenta is scraped off the uterus. Blood loss from this technique is greater than the from the suction method. This is not the routine D&C done for other reasons.

RU 486 is a chemical abortion done in the first trimester.

Many think this is solely the "French abortion pill" but RU486 actually uses two synthetic harmones (mifepristone and misoprostol) to chemically bring on abortions in women 5 to 9 weeks pregnant.

This procedure needs at least 3 trips to the abortion facility.

#1 Physical exam. Smoking, asthma, high blood pressure, obesity, etc. could be deadly to her. She takes the RU 486 pills . . . the baby starves from lack of nutrients.

#2 . . . 36 to 48 hours later, she is given prostaglandins which usually starts unerine contractions causing the baby to be expelled . . . anywhere from 4 hours to 5 days.

#3 . . . 2 weeks later, to see if the abortion was successful. If not, a surgical procedure is necessary.

Side effects of this abortion include severe bleeding, nausea, vomiting, pain, sometimes death. Long term effects may cause miscarriages or deformities in later pregnancies.

METHOTREXATE is a chemical procedure done in the first trimester.

This procedure is similar to RU 486, except it is give by an injection in the muscle instead of a pill. Even doctors who support abortion, do not highly recommend this because it is highly toxic and has bad side effects: nausea, pain, diarrhea, bone marrow depression, severe anemia, liver damage, lung disease.

DILATATION (Dilation) and EVACUATION (D&E) is a chemical procedure done in the second trimester.

This procedure is used to abort babies up to 24 weeks old, and is similar to the D&C. Forceps with sharp metal jaws are used to grab and twist the baby's parts (arms, legs) away from its body until the child is completely removed from the woman's womb. Because the baby's head has become bone by now, the skull must be crushed or compressed before it can be removed.

This was the pictures I saw . . . sickening! It is beyond my comprehension how any woman would ever submit to this, or how any doctor could perform this savage act of murder.

PARTIAL-BIRTH ABORTION is a surgical procedure done in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters.

Those who perform abortions sometimes refer to this procedure as "Dilation and Extraction (D&X)" or "Intact D&E" (IDE). These references hide the reality of how horrific this is. It is used to abort children who are 20 to 32 weeks old (or older). Guided by ultrasound, the abortionist goes into the uterus, grabs the unborn baby's leg with forceps and pulls the baby into the birth canal, EXCEPT for the baby's head . . . which is deliberately kept inside the womb. At this point, the baby is alive! And he/she can feel pain! The abortionist jams scissors into the back of the baby's skull, spreads the scissors apart so the wound is made bigger. A suction catheter is inserted into the skull and the baby's brains are sucked out. The head collapses and is removed from the womb.

Can you even begin to imagine such torture?

Some chemical procedures used in 2nd and 3rd trimesters.

SALT POISONING

Salt poisoning is also known as "saline amniocentesis," "salting out," or "hypertonic saline abortion." It is used after 16 weeks of pregnancy when enough fluid has accumulated in the amniotic fluid sac that surrounds the baby.

A needle is inserted through the mother's abdomen and 50 to 250 ml. (as much as a cup) of amniotic fluid is withdrawn and replaced with a solution of concentrated salt. The baby breathes in this mixture and is poisoned. It takes about an hour for a child to die. The mother then goes into labor about 30 to 35 hours later, delivering a dead, burned and shriveled baby.

Side effects include: seizures, coma, even death may result from saline being injected into a woman's vascular system.

UREA

Because of so many dangers connected with the Salt method, other methods like hypersomolar urea are sometimes used. This is less effective than the salt method of abortion, but has its share of side effects as well.

PROSTAGLANDINS

Prostaglandins are naturally produced chemical compounds which normally assist in the birthing process. The injection of concentrated artificial prostaglandins prematurely into the amniotic sac induces violent labor, bringing on the birth of a child usually too young to survive. Often salt or other toxins are first injected to make sure the baby is born dead. Many serious side effects result from this procedure.

HYSTEROTOMY

This method of abortion is similar to the Caesarean Section, and is used if chemical methods fail to kill the child. Incisions are made in the abdomen and uterus and the baby, placenta and amniotic sac are removed. Babies are sometimes born alive during this procedure, but are killed.

I did not know that all these horrific procedures took place in this country . . . or anywhere else for that matter. No matter the age of the unborn fetus, these practitioners have a way to murder these children. In my heart I KNOW this is WRONG! And I KNOW for certain, that this sin shall be punished by Almighty God.

Psalm 94:1-3 O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself. [2] Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud. [3] Lord, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph? (KJV) . . . The evil of this world keeps getting worse . . . day by day! Those who love the Lord shudder at some of the things that go on.

Psalm 94:4-7 How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves? [5] They break in pieces thy people, O Lord, and afflict thine heritage. [6] They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless. [7] Yet they say, The Lord shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it. (KJV) . . . Notice some of the listed sins: pride, arrogance, bragging, oppression, affliction, murder . . . Do you see any of this today?

Psalm 94:8-15 Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise? [9] He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see? [10] He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know? [11] The Lord knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity. [12] Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O Lord, and teachest him out of thy law; [13] That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked. [14] For the Lord will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance. [15] But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it. (KJV) . . . The writer calls evil people "fools." He tells them that God punishes the nations . . . He will also punish you. God knows everything! He knows what you are doing, all the time. At times, God must discipline us so we follow His paths instead of stubbornly going our own way. The discipline is not enjoyable, but it is essential to teach us right from wrong. The Bible says that "no discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it" (Heb.12:11). When you feel God’s hand of correction, accept it as proof of his love. Realize that God is urging you to be your very best. The Lord will give the righteous relief from troubled times, until judgment day when (Hell) is ready for the wicked.

Psalm 94:16-20 Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity? [17] Unless the Lord had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence. [18] When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O Lord, held me up. [19] In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul. [20] Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law? (KJV) . . . Can unjust leaders claim that God is on their side? Should the leaders of the land permit injustice? God’s people should have nothing to do with corrupt judges, who make injustice legal, who say wrong is right and right is wrong.

Psalm 94:21 They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood. (KJV) . . . Corrupt leaders and judges plot against good people, attacking the righteous and condemning the innocent to death. The devil is hard at work in the children of disobedience (Eph.2:2; 5:6; Col.3:6).

Psalm 94:22-23 But the Lord is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge. [23] And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the Lord our God shall cut them off. (KJV) . . . Godly people know there is just one place to look for right answers . . . and that is God! The Lord defends His own! He protects us. He is a mighty fortress where we can hide. God will make the sins of evil people fall back upon them. He will destroy them for their sins.

Verse 20 says "frameth mischief by a law" and that is what the Supreme Court did in 1973 when they gave their decision in Roe vs. Wade. They stated that life in the womb is NOT protected by the Constitution. Therefore, abortion on demand became legal!

These judges "frameth mischief by a law." Mischief here means: wearing effort; worry, whether of body or mind, grievance, iniquity, labor, misery, pain, perverseness, sorrow, toil, travail, trouble, wearisome, wickedness. Then verse 21 says: They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood. Those most innocent, those tiny, completely helpless babies in their mother's womb where they should be safe, are condemned to death because of the wickedness of this outrageous, disgraceful, monstrous, contemptible and indecent law!

What does God say about the shedding of INNOCENT blood???

Psalm 94:21 They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood. (KJV) . . . The wicked join forces to take the lives of righteous people. Mothers, fathers and doctors condemn innocent PEOPLE (yes! people!) to death in abortion! Since that fateful day, people of this country (and the whole world) have accepted abortion as common place! They see nothing wrong with it.

People’s hearts have become hard as stone!

Psalm 106:38 And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood. (KJV) . . . Just as Israel shed the innocent blood of their sons and daughters, by sacrificing them to the idols of Canaan, and polluted the land with murder, so too are the people of America killing their innocent children, sacrificing them to the idols of pleasure, this land is also defiled by those murders.

Isaiah 59:7 Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths. (KJV) . . . People today don’t even hesitate to murder their innocent unborn children. They say "My body belongs to me, I can do with it as I like." The vast majority willingly have sex, get pregnant, then see that it will restrict their lifestyle, so they arrange to have the fetus destroyed. Their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity.

Jeremiah 22:17 But thine eyes and thine heart are not but for thy covetousness, and for to shed innocent blood, and for oppression, and for violence, to do it. (KJV) . . . People can only see their selfish interests. They think only of self! If that unwanted tiny human within their body will cause them to disrupt and disturb their lifestyle, they think nothing of killing it. YES! It is murder!

PLEASE!! Consider this again!

18 days after conception, the baby’s heart beats on its own.
At 6 weeks, the baby moves in the womb.
At 8 weeks, the baby’s brain waves are present, heartbeat is measurable.
At 12 weeks, the baby cries, sleeps, wakes, organ systems function.

God sees us before we are even born. Every day of our life is recorded in His book. These little babies that are killed, don’t have big "books."

Isaiah 44:24-A Thus saith the Lord, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, . . . (KJV) Only God can create life, only God should take life away!

Jeremiah 1:5-A Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; (KJV) . . . Just as God knew Jeremiah before he was born, so too, does He know ALL babies in the womb, before they are born.

Life in this country is no longer sacred. But, my friend, there is Someone watching you if you do such a monstrous deed, and He certainly will not forget it! You shall one day be punished for this horrendous sin.

Ezekiel 7:3 Now is the end come upon thee, and I will send mine anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense upon thee all thine abominations. (KJV) . . . When Judgment Day comes, no hope remains, for God will unleash His anger against you. You shall be held account for all your disgusting behavior.

Jeremiah 17:10 I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. (KJV) . . . The Lord shall search all hearts and examine all secret motives. He shall give all people what is due them, according to what their actions deserve.

Proverbs 24:12 If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works? (KJV) . . . You will NOT be able to avoid responsibility by saying you didn't know it was a sin. For God knows all hearts, and He sees yours. He will judge all people according to what they have done.

Job 34:11 For the work of a man shall he render unto him, and cause every man to find according to his ways. (KJV) . . . God shall repay people according to what they have done. He treats all people according to their ways.

Col. 3:25 But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons. (KJV) . . . If you do what is wrong, you will be paid back for all the wrong you have done. For God has no favorites who can get away with evil. He does not take into consideration fame, wealth, position, power, or race. All people shall be treated justly.

Most people do not feel as strongly as they should about abortion. Many know it is wrong but refuse to speak out. They refuse to take a stand for what is right. Since abortion is "politically correct," they simply go along with the crowd. They "go with the flow" as the saying goes! But the longer it goes on, the harder hearts of people become. They just accept the gruesome and barbaric reality of the majority.

Abortion is WRONG in God’s eyes. If you have had an abortion, God can and will forgive you if you are a "born again" Christian and repent. You must turn your heart and life over to Jesus if you are not saved.

John 1:12-13 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: [13] Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (KJV) . . . Believing and receiving (accepting) Jesus is how a person becomes born again (into God’s family).

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (KJV)

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (KJV) . . . This verse is only for born again believers! An unbeliever can confess their sins all day and God will NOT hear them! Only faith in Christ can give us access to the Throne of God (Rom.5:1-2).

1 John 5:10-12 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. [11] And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. [12] He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. (KJV) . . . A person either believes God or they call Him a "liar." Jesus is the ONLY way to Heaven.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV)

What does God hate???

He hates abortion, and we should too, because it is murder!

I feel it is necessary to add the following to this article on 'Abortion'. This is very recent news, and it is absolutely sickening! It is immoral and ungodly to say the least.

Recent Infanticide Laws of New York and Virginia

In New York state, Governor Andrew Cuomo signed a law that makes abortion legal, even after the unborn child is viable, so long as the abortionist makes a “reasonable and good-faith judgment” that abortion will protect the pregnant woman’s health. In Rhode Island, Governor Gina Raimondo has pledged to sign legislation that also makes abortion legal after viability to “preserve... health.”

Laws permitting abortion up to the point of birth follow naturally from the country’s expansive abortion regime.
Democrats are increasingly explicit in their support for killing unborn children at any stage of pregnancy — and sometimes even of denying normal medical care to born children.

Governor Ralph Northam supports that legislation. Defending it, he suggested that abortions so late in pregnancy would be done only in cases where the unborn child was severely deformed or unviable and that in such cases parents should be able to withhold medical care if the infants are fully delivered.

Northam is wrong about the reasons for late-term abortions. A 2013 study of abortions after the 20th week of pregnancy indicated that “most women seeking later terminations are not doing so for reasons of fetal anomaly or life endangerment.” (The number of such abortions has been estimated at around 12,000 a year. Roe v. Wade held that states could prohibit abortion late in pregnancy only if they made an exception for abortions meant to protect the pregnant woman’s health. Justice Harry Blackmun’s majority opinion in that case mentioned several health harms that unwanted parenthood could cause. Roe’s companion case, Doe v. Bolton — written by the same justice and handed down the same day — also suggested that health should be read broadly. As Blackmun put it, “the medical judgment may be exercised in the light of all factors — physical, emotional, psychological, familial, and the woman’s age — relevant to the well-being of the patient.” An exception this broad would of course swallow any prohibition: An abortionist will always be able to say that in his professional judgment, having the child would have adverse emotional or familial consequences.
