Heaven Vs Hell
Introduction

In today’s world, most preachers won’t even think of preaching a sermon on Hell. Their congregation would not stand for it, so they preach only what people want to hear. 1 Tim. 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; (KJV)
2 Tim. 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; (KJV) As you can see from these two verses, God said this would happen! He prophesied it many years ago through the writings of the apostle Paul.
So many preachers go along with what the people want. They want to hear: . . . God loves everyone and all people will go to Heaven, there is no Hell, there will be no judgment against wrongs, etc. All these are hog wash!

True, God is no respecter of persons. Acts 10:34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: (KJV) Rom.2:11 For there is no respect of persons with God. (KJV) God does not show favoritism to any person or group of persons (or the wealthy or powerful) as we tend to do. He is not prejudiced against a particular race as we sometimes are. He loves all people equally. BUT, God is your enemy if you do not have His Son Jesus in your heart and life.
Rom.5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: (KJV) Rom.5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. (KJV) Peace with God means that we have been reconciled with Him by our faith. Without Jesus, there is hostility between God and us; our sin blocks our relationship with Him because God is SO holy and righteous and pure, He cannot stand to look on ANY sin, no matter how small we think it is. Peace with God is possible only because Jesus paid the price for our sins through His death on the cross. We must believe this or we are God’s enemies!  We MUST believe God or we are calling Him a “liar.
1 John 5:10-12 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. [11] And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. [12] He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. (KJV)

All people will NOT go to Heaven as some people think, and as many preachers preach. Just because you want something to be true, does NOT mean that it is. The Truth is, unless you believe God, and accept His one and only Way to Heaven (His Son), you will end up in the Lake of Fire (second death, Hell).

Many denominations teach that there is no Hell. I am here to tell you that they are WRONG! There absolutely is a place called Hell! And ALL who refuse to believe God, shall be sent there one day.

Another thing many preachers teach falsely is that there will be no judgment against wrongs. ALL sin must be punished, or God would be a liar! All through the Bible He clearly tells us time and time again, how He has punished sin; the Flood, Sodom and Gomorrah for example. God NEVER changes, He hated sin back in the Old Testament and He hates it now, today! Malachi 3:6 For I am the Lord, I change not; . . . (KJV) The Lord does NOT change.
Rom.11:29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. (KJV) God does NOT change His mind. There is no changing, neither shadow of turning with God (James 1:17).

Some people think that if the good they do outweighs their bad, Heaven is theirs. NO where in the Bible does it say anything even close to this! God tells it like it is: our faith, and His grace . . . bring salvation to our souls, NOT works of any kind. You cannot work or buy your way to Heaven! You must humble yourself in the sight of Almighty God, admitting you need Jesus to save you from the eternal agony of Hell. Ephes. 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: (KJV) Rich or poor, in great health or on invalid, an intellectual or retarded person, red, yellow, black or white . . . ALL people have access to Heaven. Simply ask Jesus to come into your heart and life. Salvation, eternal life in Heaven is a Gift from God! This book shows what Heaven and Hell will be like. It’s your choice! Your decision!

Heaven Vs Hell
God’s Presence Vs No Lord   Ch.1

“HEAVEN”

Rev. 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. (KJV) The Earth as we know it shall be destroyed by fire (2 Pet.3:10-12).
2 Peter 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. (KJV) This Earth is plagued by all kinds of evil, wickedness and sin. In the new Earth, there shall be absolutely NO sin of any kind ever again. I cannot even imagine . . . NO more sin!
Rev. 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. (KJV) The apostle John sees this amazing City and tells us some things about it.
Rev. 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. (KJV) God will share His Home (Heaven) with His people (born again believers). He will live with and among them, and they will be His people. Almighty God Himself (Creator of the Universe) will be with us, living with us. Can you comprehend this? I feel so inadequate teaching God’s Word. I know I do not do it justice. I simply write what He so lovingly places on my heart.

This book will be different than our other ones. Each chapter will state details about Heaven, then details about hell. I will contrast the two, trying to show the extreme difference and how they oppose each other. Please remember, BOTH are actual places!

No Mores of Heaven Vs No Mores of Hell   Ch.2
“HEAVEN”

Rev. 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. (KJV) “No more sea.” The sea was viewed as dangerous and changeable. And too, the sea separates.
Rev. 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. (KJV)  “No more death, no more sorrow, no more crying, no more pain” can you imagine this? I cannot!
Rev. 21:25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. (KJV) “No more night.”
Rev. 22:3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: (KJV) “No more curse” means that nothing accursed (vile, corrupted) will ever be in God’s Presence again. This shall fulfill Zechariah’s prophecy. Zech. 14:11 And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited. (KJV) Saints shall live safely and securely for ever! The curse on the land shall be lifted as well (Gen. 3:17).

Seven (7) is the number of perfection and completeness. If you notice, there are seven “no mores” of Heaven listed in the above Passages: 1. sea, 2. death, 3. sorrow, 4.crying (tears), 5. pain, 6. night, 7. curse.

Then, for good measure, our Lord adds this.
Rev. 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life. (KJV) “No more wickedness of any kind.” No filthiness, nothing unclean will be permitted in Heaven. Nothing sinful or unclean, idolatrous or false and deceitful, will ever be permitted entrance to this amazing City. There shall be a powerful angel at every gate to assure this! (Rev.21:12).

All who live in Heaven, shall be made perfect in holiness before we are allowed entrance. In today’s life, saints feel a sad tinge of corruption, which hinders us in serving God. This corruption is born in us (Ps.58:3). Original sin refers to the first transgression humans ever committed, when Adam and Eve ate the fruit from the tree that God had forbidden them to touch. That original sin has been passed down to us from our ancestors, Adam and Eve. It interrupts our fellowship with the Lord. Only the Blood of Jesus can cleanse us in the Father’s eyes (1 Peter 1:18-19). But, our old nature remains in us even though we trust Jesus to save us. Paul desperately fought this (Rom.7:14-25). We all fight it. But at the Judgment Seat of Christ, we shall be made holy, once and for all. We shall be made like Jesus (1 John 2:2-3); as He is, so shall we be (pure and holy). Then, and only then, shall we be allowed into Heaven. NO ONE will be admitted into Heaven who is unclean in any way. Heaven shall be free from hypocrites, and all people who lie. Can you get a glimpse of Heaven from these verses? It really is difficult for me.

“HELL”

Luke 16:22-24 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; [23] And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. [24] And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. (KJV) Many people think this is just a ‘story,’ a made up story. I believe this parable of Jesus is like His many other parables of His; they all compare earthly things with heavenly things. Jesus’ parables are earthly stories with a heavenly meaning. But, this particular parable is a little different as I see it. This is the only parable that Jesus gives a name to a man. This Lazarus is not the same Lazarus whom Jesus raised from the dead in John 11. I honestly think it could have been a literal beggar that Jesus used in His parable.

No more peace, happiness or enjoyment (opposite of torments), no more mercy, no more water.” Think about this! We need to really consider the “no mores” of Hell. Hell will be a horrible place!

2 Thess. 1:8-9 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: 9  Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; (KJV) So, WHAT is this verse telling us? What are the “no mores” here? Punishment is being penalized for wrong doing, and the punishment of Hell is everlasting destruction (which is the Lake of Fire, Rev. 20:14). To be cast out from the Presence of the Lord is eternal death. Those in Hell shall be without any influence of God’s Presence, who is the Source of all light and good and holiness (Isaiah 66:24; Mark 9:44).

The opposite of punishment is being rewarded or blessed. There shall be “no more blessings or rewards” ever again once a person enters Hell. All who are separated from God in eternity no longer have any hope whatsoever for salvation.

This verse also tells us all those in Hell shall be forever separated from the Lord and from His glorious power. “No more of God’s glorious and mighty power” shall those in Hell ever see again.
Hell’s worst punishment will be everlasting separation from God’s Presence, His goodness and His love.

Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: (KJV) God clearly states here that each person dies ONLY ONCE and after that comes judgment. So many people believe in reincarnation. The Bible does NOT teach anything at all like this! There are also people who believe and teach that people have a second chance after they die. The damnable heresy of Purgatory taught by Catholics FALSELY gives people hope of a second chance! Again, the Bible does NOT teach this at all, not anywhere! There are “no more chances after death, no reprieves, no pardons, no exit doors, and no amount of prayers” that can get you out of Hell once God sends a person there. Serious stuff!

NO MORES OF HEAVEN

The beauty of our God’s Heaven can’t be told,
It’s unspeakable; and one day we’ll behold!
There’ll be so many things that won’t be there,
I’m looking forward to climbing that stair.

No more pain from troubles or labors long,
No more sickness, no disease; nothing wrong!
No more ailing, so we won’t need doctors,
No more old age, no more death held in store.

There shall be no more funerals, e’er again,
No parting, no families, broken by men!
No more poverty, no hunger, no more thirst,
No more afflictions that need to be nursed.

No more oppression of the poor weak folk,
No injustice, that would take their only cloak.
No more suffering, no confusion, no more stress,
No more war, no more crime, no more wickedness!

No more evil, no hatred, and no more lies,
No drunkenness, no hard feelings to deny.
No more meanness, no ugliness, no more strife,
I can’t ev’n imagine this kind of life!

No more pride, no stubbornness, no more fear,
No depressing moments will e’er come near!
No disappointments, no more heartaches deep,
No more worry, no more loneliness to reap.

No more sin of any kind; Satan is gone!
No one to discourage; ‘twill be a new dawn!
Do you want to go to this marvelous place?
Just accept Jesus, you’ll go by God’s grace!

(Rev.ch.21; 22:1-15)

NO MORES OF HELL

No more wonderful fragrance of a rose,
No more beautiful birds; can you suppose?
No more blue skies, with fluffy clouds so white,
No more children playing, with laughter so bright.

No more peace at heart, no more feeling swell,
No more joyous occasions; not in Hell.
No more fishing or boating on water clear,
Friend, there is no more water, no where near!

No more friendship of joy, found in that throng,
No more comforts of home, no loving song.
No more music or laughter in that place,
No more of God’s mercy, pardon, or grace!

No more light, not even a tiny bit,
No more tranquillity, no contentment.
No more goodness of any kind, e’er more,
No more blessings from God will be in store!

No more love, joy, nor happiness in Hell,
Is this the place you have chosen to dwell?
No more beauty of nature on Hell’s banks,
Just darkness forever; ‘twill be so rank!

You’re on the way to Heav’n or Hell this day,
Only Jesus can get you to Heav’n’s way!
But if you do reject God’s only Son,
Hell does await, and agony begun.

Check out the following Scripture verses.
(Lu.16:22-26; Mt.13;41,42,49,50; 8:12; 22:33; 25:41,46; Ps.9:17; Mk.16:16; Heb.10:26,27,31; Jn.3:15-18,36; 8:24; 14:6; Ac.4:12)

Heaven Vs Hell
Heaven prepared for believers Vs
Hell prepared for the devil and his followers Ch.3

“HEAVEN”

John 14:2-3 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. [3] And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.(KJV) There are so few verses in the Bible that describe eternal life, but these overflow with great Promises. Jesus tells those who trust Him: “I am going to Heaven to prepare a place for you,” and “I will come back and get you.” We can look forward to eternal life because Jesus has promised it to all who believe in Him. God does not make the details of eternity known to us, but we do not have to fear because Jesus (GOD, John 10:30) is preparing a wonderful place for us and the best part, He shall spend eternity with us. It can’t get any better than this!

Rev. 21:9-10 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife. [10] And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, (KJV)
The Lamb's wife is ALL who believe God and trust in Jesus (born again believers) . . . and is in striking contrast to the whore who sat on many waters (Rev. 17:1). "The holy city Jerusalem" descending out of Heaven shall be the eternal home of all saints. “New Jerusalem” (Heaven) is prepared by God for saints. The Lamb’s wife is ALL born again believers! Galatians 3:27-29 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28  There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29  And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. (KJV) It is these who are the Lamb’s wife! The Lamb’s wife is the TRUE church, the Body of Christ!

Rev. 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. (KJV) In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve were barred from any access to the tree of life because of their sin (Gen.3:22-24). In the prepared golden City (Heaven), God’s people will eat freely from the tree of life because their sins have been removed by Christ’s death and resurrection. Those who trust Jesus for their salvation, shall eat the fruit of this tree and live forever. If Jesus has forgiven your sins, you will be able to eat from this tree.

Banished From God
“HELL”

Matthew 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: (KJV) Here, Jesus clearly tells us there is a Hell (everlasting fire). It has been prepared (made) for the devil and his angels (demons) and ALL people who insist on rejecting Christ. I truly believe that sinners (unbelievers, rejecters of Christ Rev.21:8; John 9:31; 1 John 3:10) in this world are called often by the Holy Spirit, to come to Christ for life and rest, but they repeatedly turned away from His calls; rejecting Jesus, and refusing to come to Him. Condemned sinners will one day try to offer worthless excuses.

The punishment of the wicked will be an everlasting punishment; their condition cannot be changed after the final judgment. Life and death, good and evil, the blessing and the curse, are set before us all, and we are given the right to choose our own way. It is completely up to each of us how we choose, and how we choose predicts what our end shall be. Which of the two places God has prepared will you go? Heaven OR Hell???

Matthew 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. (KJV) Eternal punishment shall take place in Hell (the lake of fire), the place of punishment, after death, for ALL those who refuse to repent and turn to Jesus. What Jesus is talking about here is an actual, literal place of eternal fire (Mat.5:22; 10:28; Mark 9:43; Luke 12:5; James 3:6; Rev. 19:20). It has been prepared for the devil, his angels, and ALL those who do not believe God and accept His Son (Matthew 25:41; Rev. 20:9-10). Hell is the final and eternal state of the wicked after the second resurrection and the last judgment. Jesus warns again and again against stubborn unbelief. He is trying to save people from eternal, agonizing punishment.
Psalm 11:6 Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup. (KJV) The righteous stand in strong contrast to God's hatred for the wicked. Their punishment is described clearly by abundant, sudden, furious, and utter destruction (Gen.19:24; Ps.9:15). Cup is a symbol for God's wrath (Ps.75:8; Rev. 16:19).

Heaven Vs Hell
Radiant Light Vs Darkness   Ch.4

“HEAVEN

Rev. 21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. (KJV) Heaven is God’s Home, and one day will be the home of all His people. When we get there, we shall have a wonderfully perfect and a direct, very close fellowship with the Creator God, unlike anything we could ever imagine. We shall see for ourselves the harmonious union and co-equality of the Son with the Father in the Godhead.

Can you even begin to imagine what a gloomy world would this be, if it were not for the light of the sun and the moon? But this verse tells us there will be no sun nor moon in New Jerusalem. What is it, there in Heaven that takes the place of the sun and moon? The glory of God lightens that city, and the Lamb is the Light thereof. Heaven shall be entirely filled with the glory of God, and it shall be lightened by the Presence of the Lord Jesus.

To give you just a tiny glimpse of the glory of Jesus, see verses below about the transfiguration of Jesus on the mountain.
Matthew 17:2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. (KJV)
Mark 9:3 And his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them. (KJV)
Luke 9:29 And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering. (KJV) Peter, James and John were given a ‘preview of coming attractions’ that day on the mountain. They were given a special revelation of Jesus’ divinity. They were shown who He really was . . . NOT just a great prophet, but God’s very own Son (verified by God Himself, Luke 9:35). They were also shown a brief glance at what Jesus would look like in
eternity. His face did shine as the sun. His clothing became dazzling white, far whiter than any earthly process could ever make it. The appearance of His face changed, and His clothing became dazzling white. Jesus and His Father will be all the light we will need in Heaven.

John 12:46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. (KJV) Jesus is all the light we need, now and eternally!

Darkness forever, NO light
“HELL”

Matthew 8:12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (KJV) When Jesus comes at the Rapture (1 Thes.4:13-18), He shall find little faith (Lk.18:8), therefore He shall find little fruit. Because we outwardly profess to be “Christians” we may be called children of the kingdom; but IF we rest in that, and have nothing else to show, Jesus says we shall be cast out. We must believe, if we are to receive eternal life. And a TRUE believer will not just sit back and do nothing while waiting for the Lord to come.
Matthew 22:13-14 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. [14] For many are called, but few are chosen. (KJV) In the parable of the marriage of the King’s Son, Jesus talks about Hell again. It was customary back then, for wedding guests to be given garments to wear to the banquet. It was unthinkable to refuse to wear these garments. That would highly insult the host, who would think that the guest was arrogant and thought he didn’t need these garments. The wedding clothes in this parable picture the righteousness needed to enter God’s kingdom . . . and that is the righteousness we receive when we accept Christ into our heart and life. Christ has made available this garment of righteousness for everyone (whosoever), but each person must choose to put it on in order to enter the King’s banquet (eternal life). There is an open invitation, but we must be ready. IF you refuse to put on the wedding garment (righteousness of Christ, 1 Cor.1:30), the King will cast you into outer darkness (Hell); there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. You will end up in the dark agony of an eternal Hell.

Matthew 25:30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (KJV) This is the parable of the talents, and again, our Lord Jesus is warning about Hell. He is speaking about the unprofitable servant . . . the useless servant, that does not do his Master any service. Jesus says that people who say they are “Christians,” (servants of God), yet shirk their responsibility, and do nothing to reach lost souls or build up the church in any way, shall be cast into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Time after time, Jesus tells us Hell is “dark.”

In this parable, the “talents” were sums of money. Here they do not represent natural endowments of a person such as a musical or artistic talent. But, what is important to us is, whatever God has given to us, we are to use for Him.

All the servants were given a certain amount of money and told to use it profitably. But one man buried the money he had been given. He was not faithful to his master. This is like a person who professes to be a “Christian” and then sits back and does nothing to benefit the Kingdom of God. They can come up with one excuse after another, but it is the same as the servant who buried his talent.

There is a tremendous lesson in this parable for us. All of us . . . are one day going to have to stand in the Presence of Almighty God and give an account of how we have used what He has given to us. The Lord is not going to ask us how much we have done for Him but how faithful we have been to that which He wanted us to do.

Consider the following: (1) Find out what God wants you to do; (determine what talent God has given you), and then (2) be faithful in using it. Some of us have a very small ministry, but no matter how small, God expects us to be faithful with it. You do NOT want to be cast into outer darkness (Hell).

Heaven Vs Hell
River of Water of life Vs NO Water, Ch.5

“HEAVEN”

Rev. 22:1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. (KJV) This is an extremely special river that is shown to John. It starts at the Throne of God. This river of water of life is a symbol of eternal life. Jesus used this same image with the Samaritan woman, below. It pictures the fullness of life with God and the eternal blessings that come when we believe in Him and allow Him to satisfy our spiritual thirst.

Rev. 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. (KJV) Here, both the Holy Spirit and the bride of Christ (the church), extend an invitation to ALL the world to come to Jesus and experience the joys of salvation that are available only through Him. The invitation is given to everyone, but only those who accept the invitation shall be able to drink of the water of life.

John 4:10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. (KJV) What is “living water?” Many Old Testament verses speak of thirsting after God as one thirsts for water (see below). In saying He would bring living water that could forever quench a person’s thirst for God, Jesus was claiming to be the Messiah. Only the Messiah could give this gift that satisfies the soul’s desire.

Isaiah 55:1 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. (KJV)  Food costs money, doesn’t last long, and meets only our physical needs. God offers us free water and nourishment that feeds our soul. God’s salvation is FREELY offered, but we must eagerly receive it. We will starve spiritually without this food as surely as we will starve physically without our daily bread.

Jeremiah 17:13 O Lord, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the Lord, the fountain of living waters. (KJV) ALL who turn away from Jesus will be disgraced and shamed; for they have forsaken the Lord, the Fountain of living water. All those who live in Heaven, shall never thirst again. Water there shall be plentiful, for all.

NO Water
“HELL”

Luke 16:23-24 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. [24] And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. (KJV) The word hell in Greek is hadeµs, meaning “the unseen world.” In reality, Hell, as we think of it, is a place that has no occupants as yet. Its first occupants will be the Antichrist and the false prophet (Rev.20:10).

When they died, Lazarus and the rich man went to the unseen world, the place of the departed dead. When the rich man died, his soul went to the place of the dead (Hades), which is the temporary ‘holding place’ for all unsaved souls. If you notice, as soon as the rich man was sent to Hades, he was in torment. If temporary Hades is a place of torment,  think of what Hell will be like. He could see Lazarus in the far distance with Abraham.
It will help us understand this parable better if we realize that Sheol or Hades (translated Hell in the New Testament) is divided into two compartments: Paradise (called Abraham’s Bosom in this parable) and the place of torment. Paradise was emptied when Christ took with Him at His ascension the Old Testament believers (Eph. 4:8–10). Hades, the place of torment will keep all the lost souls until the Great White Throne Judgment (Rev. 20:11–15). All who stand at this judgment are lost, and they all shall be cast into the lake of fire, which is the second death.

When the rich man died, because he was not saved, his spirit went to the place of torment (Hades), the compartment where lost souls go. The beggar went to the compartment called Paradise or Abraham’s Bosom. The rich man did not go to Hell because of his wealth but because he was unloving, uncaring, no compassion, selfish, refusing to feed Lazarus, take him in, or do anything at all for him. The rich man was hardhearted in spite of his great blessings. Money itself is not evil, it is our attitude toward it and how we use it (1 Tim.6:6-10).

Notice some things about Luke 16:23-24: The lost go to a place where they shall be conscious; they shall feel the pain and torment. Also, it seems in this Passage that people know each other after death. The rich man recognized Lazarus. He knew that Lazarus was in a better place that he was. And he knew there was nothing that he could do to change it. Can you imagine his grief at his wrong choices? It seems that he could see Abraham as well, and what he asked, seemed so little . . . send Lazarus to him so he could dip his finger in water and cool his tongue . . . but, it was refused! There will be NO water . . . in Hades or Hell.

Death is separation. The Bible teaches that there are three kinds of death. Physical death is simply separation of the body and soul (2 Cor. 5:8). Upon our death, our soul goes immediately back to God (Eccles.12:7). If we are a believer in Jesus, we are allowed access to Heaven. If we are an unbeliever and have rejected Jesus, that soul goes to Hades to await judgment, Hell and eternal death.

We all are spiritually dead (separated from God) until we accept Jesus as our Saviour and Lord. Once we accept Him, we are revived and are given life (John 3:15-18; 5:24).

All who refuse to believe God and reject His one and only Way of salvation (Jesus), are eternally dead (separated from God eternally) and will have as their eternal home the agony of Hell. Hell is called the second death (Rev.2:11; 20:6,14; 21:8).

Death is NEVER annihilation as some cults teach. When Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit, they died. Physically Adam did not die until about nine hundred years later, but the day that he ate of the fruit he was separated from God. Jesus spoke of it when He said, “… I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die” (John 11:25–26). Sin separates man from God. People are spiritually dead while they live. Paul told the Ephesians, “And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins” (Eph. 2:1).

DEAD BUT NOT BURIED

Many today as they walk on this Earth,
Don’t know Jesus, don’t have the second birth.
These are dead in spirit, do not know God,
They just listen to Satan, that old fraud!

They’re dead, but not buried; they walk around,
They’re spiritually dead; not in the ground.
Our life is based on life He did live,
And upon His death; for us He did give!

Eternity is held in another’s Hand,
Ev’n as we walk on the face of this land.
Christ lived and died, for one and for all,
Accept what He did, and you will not fall!

Dead but not buried; not the way to go,
For this leads only to Hell, far below!
God doesn’t want to send any to Hell,
But reject His Son, and there you shall dwell!

You can live forever, and never die,
And be granted Heaven, up in the sky.
Just believe what God says; trust Christ today,
And you’re passed from death, to life, this day!

(Jn.1:13; 3:3-8, 15-18,36; 5:24; 8:24; 11:25; 14:6;
Ro.6:23; 8:6; 11:8; 13:11; Jam.1:1; 5:20; 1 P.1:23;
1 Jn.5:1,10-12; Mt.16:26; Rev.3:1; 21:8)

Second death is spiritual death, and it means eternal separation from God in Hell (the Lake of Fire).  Our Lord Jesus is not saying that the rich man went to the place of torment because he was rich and that the poor man went to Abraham’s Bosom because he was poor. When each man went through the doorway of death, things for both of them changed drastically. Their position was actually reversed, due to what was in the hearts of these two men. The rich man becomes the beggar, while the poor beggar is now the rich man. We cannot, we must not, ever judge anyone by their outward appearance. Only God alone knows what is in the heart of man. We must love everyone.
Rev. 7:17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. (KJV) Since God will be in Heaven and NOT in Hell, there will be NO fountains of water anywhere. What a horrible place this will be, and the thirst of residents shall never be quenched.

Heaven Vs Hell
12 Gates Vs NO Exit Doors   Ch.6
“HEAVEN”

Rev. 21:12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: (KJV) New Jerusalem will have a high wall, with 12 gates; and at each one of the gates will be a powerful angel, assuring us that NOTHING evil will ever be permitted into the Golden City.
Rev. 21:13 On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. (KJV) There will be three gates on each side of the Golden City; east, north, south and west.
Rev. 21:21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. (KJV) I think everyone has heard of the ‘pearly gates.’ The gates will indeed be pearly! Each gate will be one massive pearl.
Rev. 21:25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. (KJV)  It will always be day in Heaven. Gates are usually shut by night: but in Heaven, there shall be no more night, so the gates will never be shut. There will be continuous free coming and going into the Golden City.

NO Exit doors
“HELL”

Luke 16:25-26 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. [26] And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. (KJV) Since the resurrection of our Lord Jesus, the bodies of believers go into the grave and return to dust, but their spirits go to be with Christ. 2 Cor. 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. (KJV) No one goes to the Paradise section today. When they die, their spirit goes immediately to be with the Lord.
But, as I understand it . . .  the lost today still go to the place of torment in Hades (temporary Hell). Ephes. 4:8-10 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. [9] (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? [10] He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) (KJV) It is my understanding, that when our Lord descended into Hades, the place of the dead, after His crucifixion on the cross, He went into the Paradise section (saved souls), and took everyone there into God’s Presence. “When he ascended up on high” refers to the ascension of Christ. He led captivity captive, which I believe, refers to the redeemed of the Old Testament who went to Paradise (Abraham’s Bosom) when they died. Christ took all these redeemed souls with Him out of Paradise into the very Presence of God when He ascended. Since that time, no one has occupied the Paradise section of Hades. The only part of Hades still occupied is the place of torment where unbelievers go when they die. At the Great White Throne Judgment, Hades (present day Hell) will be cast into the lake of fire and men will no longer be sent there (Rev. 20:14).

A great gulf (chasm) fixed, by a permanent decree by the one and only true Lawmaker, Almighty God. He had placed a great impassable abyss between the two sections in Hades, and the occupants of each part could NOT pass over from one part to the other. Those in Hell could not go to Paradise section, and Lazarus could not go to the Hell part to “cool the tongue” of the rich man. So, if it is like this in the temporary Hell (holding place for White Throne Judgment sinners) it is certainly much worse in the permanent Hell (the Lake of Fire, the Second Death). Once a person is sentenced to the Lake of Fire, there is NO hope of escape whatsoever! There will be NO exit doors in Hell. All those who are sentenced there, are there for eternity. It shall be everlasting darkness, everlasting fire (judgment). If you do not know Jesus for the full pardon of your sins, please consider Him now.

Heaven is a place, and the moment you die you will either go there to be with Christ, OR you will go immediately to the place of torment where you shall eventually be judged and then cast into the lake of fire. Please consider this: God never wants Hell as an end for anyone of the human family. He gives people so many chances! He is SO patient! His Spirit keeps striving with people, keeps trying to get them to listen. The lake of fire was made for the Devil and his angels (Mat. 25:41). Every person has their God given right to choose their final destination. God gives us this time on Earth (our life) to decide where we will spend eternity. This life on Earth shall end! This Earth is NOT our permanent home. This Earth as we know it shall end. But . . . our soul IS eternal, and it shall live somewhere! YOU must decide. I pray you make the right decision, for after you die, it will be too late!

There is a great gulf fixed: Jesus made that quite clear. You must make the decision in this life where you will go after your death. You do not get a second chance after death. Remember . . .  NO exit doors in Hell!

It pains me to write on the subject of Hell. But, if I did not do it, in obedience to God, I would be an unfaithful servant. If I write about Heaven, I must write about Hell, in hopes of turning lost souls to Jesus. Jesus spoke more on the subject of Hell that any other subject because He does NOT want anyone to go there. He loves you dearly. I too write out of love, praying all the while that the Holy Spirit touch and soften hard hearts.

Heaven Vs Hell
No Pain Vs Constant Suffering   Ch.7

“HEAVEN”

Rev. 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. (KJV)  Neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The marvelous Truths of Heaven are indescribable! There will be no pain there ever again! We all have had pain and suffering in our lives; some of us more than others, but we all know what pain is and we know how devastating it can be. After tolerating pain for any length of time, we are exhausted! It actually consumes and depletes our mind. But . . . no matter what you are going through, no matter how hard it is, it’s not the end of the book, because IF you are God’s child, He has written the final chapter in your life’s history, and what a tremendous chapter it is! It is about true fulfillment and eternal joy for those who love Him. We do not know nearly as much as we would like to know, but it is enough to know that eternity with God will be more wonderful than we could ever imagine. There are not enough words in any language to say how wonderful Heaven really is!
2 Cor. 12:2-4 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven. [3] And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) [4] How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter. (KJV) This event cannot be positively identified, but many think this could have been when Paul was stoned and left for dead (Acts 14:19-20). Paul says he was caught up into the third heaven (God’s Home). He did not know if it was bodily, or just his spirit that accessed Heaven, but he did know that he was caught up into Paradise and heard things so remarkable and amazing that they could not be told. Whether he just heard . . . or heard and saw, he does not say.

All the following Bible verses state “heavens” as more than one. 1 Chron.16:26; Psalm 8:3; 96:5; 102:25; Pro.8:27; Isaiah 40:22; 42:5; 45:12; 48:13; Joel 2:30; Zec.12:1; 2 Peter 3:7.
According to the Jewish people, there were three heavens, (1) The first heaven consists of the clouds and the air; the firmament, as “fowls of the heaven” (Gen. 2:19; 7:3, 23; Psalm 8:8), “the eagles of heaven” (Lament. 4:19), (2) The second heaven contains the stars (the sky); starry heavens (Deut. 17:3; Jer.8:2; Mat.24:29). (3) The third Heaven is spiritual (God’s Home). “The heaven of heavens,” or “the third heaven” (Deut. 10:14; 1 Kings 8:27; Psalm 115:16; Psalm 148:4; 2 Cor. 12:2).
Ephes. 4:10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) (KJV) When Jesus ascended, He went up to the “third Heaven.” Some heavenly words are communicable (Ex. 34:6; Isaiah 6:3). What Paul heard, was not. Paul had no power to adequately utter what he had heard; but if he had, he would not have been permitted to say what he heard; and even if he said what he heard, no human could have understood. Paul heard and knew more than he could speak.

John 3:12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? (KJV) When Jesus was on Earth as Man, He told people many things, but people did NOT believe Him. It would have done no good at all for Jesus to tell of heavenly things. How would they have possibly believed Him if He told of Heaven? Nicodemus was an earnest Pharisee. He knew Scriptures. Yet he could not understand when Jesus told him he must be “born again.”

1 Cor. 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. (KJV) No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind can begin to imagine what God has prepared for those who love Him. No language has enough words to explain Heaven and the life we shall have there!
There are many things which people simply cannot possibly understand about eternity. The never ending and immeasurable wisdom of God’s great work of redemption is beyond our comprehension. There are things God has prepared for those that love Him, serve Him faithfully, and wait for Him patiently, which our mind cannot know. No words can convey this to our ears, nor can it enter our hearts. Let’s take God’s Word for the future. Let’s praise Him for what He has revealed to us.

Constant Suffering
“HELL”

Luke 16:24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. (KJV) In the parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus, there are several spiritual things represented. Jesus describes the unseen worlds in terms of good and bad. It is amazing just how many people do not believe in a literal Hell!

Jesus did not say how the rich man got his wealth; by fraud, oppression or illegally; or by honest hard work, investment or perhaps inheritance. What Jesus does show us is that a person may have much wealth, splendor, fame, power and pleasure in this world, yet perish for ever under God’s wrath and curse. The rich man’s sin was his providing for himself only, never once considering the less fortunate. In other words . . . me, me, me!

Then we have Lazarus, a godly man, who had little or nothing in this world; but would in the hereafter be happy for ever. It is often that some of the dearest of God’s saints and servants are greatly afflicted in some way or another in this world. James 2:5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? (KJV)

Jesus did not tell us that the rich man did Lazarus any physical harm, but it is clear he had no use for him. But, notice the different conditions of these two men after their death. The rich man no longer lives in peaceful luxury, but finds himself in Hell. Luke 16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. (KJV)

Luke 16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.(KJV) The rich man went to hell, where he was constantly tortured. And when he looked up, he saw Abraham and Lazarus far off in the distance. It is not likely that there were conversations between glorified saints and damned sinners. This just shows us the hopeless misery and fruitless desires of condemned souls.

There is a day coming, when those who now hate and scorn the people of God, would gladly receive the smallest amount of kindness from them. But those damned to Hell shall not receive any lessening of their torment from anyone.

Sinners (unbelievers, rejecters of Christ) are now given every opportunity to believe God and accept His Son, Jesus; but they do not! They find all kinds of ways to avoid it.
(KJV)
Matthew 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. (KJV)  In this verse also, Jesus clearly tells us there shall be eternal punishment (suffering) in Hell (the lake of fire), the place of punishment after death for all those who refuse to repent, and trust Jesus to save them.
John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. (KJV)
Matthew 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: (KJV) I recently read what I consider to be false doctrine about this verse. The internet is full of such heresies. The writer claimed that Hell (everlasting fire, the lake of fire, the second death) was prepared only for Satan and his demons. He is teaching that no human will go there. I know in my heart that he is wrong!
True, Satan (the devil) and his angels (bad angels, demons) shall go to this place. And it is also true that God wants no human to go there . . . BUT .  . . if a person insists on rejecting God and His Son Jesus, God has NO other alternative. People shall be sent to this hideous place!

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. (KJV) There are only two groups of people in the world today: children of God (John 1:12-13; 3:3) and children of the devil. I will bring several verses to prove my point.

1 John 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. (KJV) There is a very clear difference between God’s children and the devil’s children. All  those who do not believe God, or do not do what is right in God’s eyes, or do not love others are NOT God’s children. They are the devil’s children.

Ephes. 5:6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. (KJV)
Col. 3:6 For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: (KJV)
The “wrath of God” refers to God’s judgment on wicked behavior, ending with eternal punishment in Hell. Please remember that ALL people shall one day stand before God to give account of themselves. NO one will be able to hide from this judgment!

Ephes. 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: (KJV)   Christ Jesus is the permanent ruler of the whole world. Satan is only the temporary ruler of the part of the world that chooses to follow him. One day, he shall be cast into “everlasting fire.”
Rev. 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. (KJV) But, IF we read down to the last verse of that chapter, it will prove I am right.
Rev. 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (KJV)
The lake of fire is Hell, the lake of fire is the “everlasting fire” of Mat. 25:41, that the false teacher claims is prepared only for the devil and his angels. I believe all that the Bible tells us.

Heaven Vs Hell
Tree of Life Vs NO Trees   Ch.8

“HEAVEN”

Rev. 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. (KJV) To overcome is to be victorious by believing in Christ, persevering, being a faithful servant and living as one who follows Christ.
1 John 5:4-5 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. [5] Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? (KJV)  Every child of God defeats this evil world by trusting Christ to give them victory. Those who “overcome” are those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God. Verses on overcoming and their great blessings: Rev. 2:7; 2:11;  2:17; 2:26; 3:5; 3:12; 3:21; 21:7. Those who overcome have a life that brings tremendous and eternal rewards.

Above in verse 2:7, Jesus tells us we shall eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. Are there other trees in Heaven? I don’t know. But this particular tree is extremely important! The foremost joy, happiness and blessedness of Heaven is that it is the Paradise of God; and that Almighty God Himself lives there (Rev. 21:3).

Rev. 22:2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. (KJV) John is quoting from Ezekiel 47:12, where water flowing from the Temple yields trees with healing leaves. There will be NO sickness of any kind in Heaven. What this verse emphasizes (stresses) is that the water of life produces health and strength wherever it goes.
Rev. 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. (KJV) Blessed are those who wash their robes are the words other versions use. So, IF we do His commandments we are washing our robes (clothes), and IF our robes have been washed in the Blood of Jesus (Acts 16:33; Acts 22:16; 1 Cor.6:11; Tit.3:5; 1 Pet.1:18-19; Rev.1:5; 7:14), we can enter through the gates of the city and eat the fruit from the tree of life. Because of Jesus, we have access to Heaven. He has the ONLY key to Heaven, and IF we want to go there, He must open the door (gate) for us, otherwise we could never enter. Since Jesus is GOD (John 10:30), and Heaven is God’s Home, doesn’t it make sense that only God would have the key? He does NOT keep that key under the doormat or in the flower pot, nor does He have multiple keys (as some people think). There is only ONE Way to Heaven and my friend, Jesus has the key, Jesus IS the Key!

Rev. 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. (KJV) Only when we “wash our robes” (do his commandments), will we ever have any authority over the tree of life. Only then will we be allowed access into the gates of that beautiful golden City. NO unbelievers, NO one whose robes are not washed in the Blood of Jesus will ever be able to enter Heaven! (Rev.22:15; 21:8).

WHY do you want to go to Heaven? If you do not have a sincere, deep love for Jesus in your heart, if you do not care about Jesus today, if you do not want to talk about Jesus, Heaven will not be as you think it is. I don’t know your reason for wanting to go to Heaven, but all we are going to talk about up there is JESUS! We are going to talk about Him, and we are going to serve Him and we are going to sing praises to Him, and honor Him forever!

NO Trees
“HELL”

Job 10:22 A land of darkness, as darkness itself; and of the shadow of death, without any order, and where the light is as darkness. (KJV) Why do I say there will be NO trees in Hell? Because in order for trees or any other vegetation to grow, it must have light, and it must have water. As I have tried to point out in this booklet, there will be NO light and  NO water in Hell. So taking this into consideration, trees or grass or flowers or herbs . . . NO vegetation of any kind will be in Hell. It is a land (place) as dark as midnight, a land of absolute gloom where confusion reigns and the lightest light there shall be as dark as midnight. A place of darkness, confusion and  memories of what could have been, and pain and suffering as you have never known ETERNALLY. I pray that you consider what I have said in this booklet. NO one is forced to go to Hell! God can and will forgive any sin IF you truly repent (turn away from and go the other way). 1 John 1:8-10 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. [9] If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. [10] If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. (KJV) We ALL are sinners (Rom.3:10,23), but God’s children (John 1:12-13; 3:3) are saved sinners destined for Heaven; while unbelievers are unsaved sinners destined for Hell. But, my friend, it does NOT have to be that way! Today can be the day of your salvation if you do not know Jesus as your personal Saviour and Lord (2 Cor.6:2).

More verses on the darkness of Hell.
Matthew 8:12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (KJV) Each person has to choose to accept or reject the Gospel. NO one can become part of God’s kingdom on the basis of heritage or people you know. Coming from a Christian family is a great blessing, but it won’t get you eternal life. You must believe in and follow Christ Jesus.
Matthew 22:13  Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (KJV)
Matthew 25:30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (KJV)  The person who diligently prepares by investing his/her time and talent to serve God will have Heaven as their eternal home. The person who has no love or heart for the work of the kingdom will be cast into Hell (eternal darkness) where there shall be NO trees of any kind. God rewards faithfulness. Those who do nothing for God’s kingdom cannot expect to be treated the same as those who are faithful to Him.

Rev. 16:10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, (KJV) People during the Great Tribulation will know that the horrific judgments they are facing come from God. They curse Him for sending them the agony. This verse does not refer to Hell; here God sends darkness to the Earth as a judgment. In verse 2, God sent sores, in verses 8-9, devastating heat. What a combination! This is not speaking of Hell, but it is what Hell will be like. This says the people gnawed their tongues for pain. That is what Hell will be like, only worse.

Exodus 10:21 And the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt. (KJV)  The darkness of Hell will be felt! Many years ago, we went to a cavern in Missouri. There was a tram or train we all rode into the cavern. When we got deep inside, the driver of the vehicle pulling the train, turned off the motor and the lights. I will NEVER forget that moment! It was terrifying! There was absolutely NO light whatsoever! I still cringe at the way that I felt! IF that is what Hell is like, I am glad Jesus has reserved a place in Heaven for me (1 Pet.1:4). THANK YOU JESUS!
2 Peter 2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; (KJV) Delivered them into chains of darkness . . . this verse is saying there is NO way out of Hell once you get there. Not even the mighty angels can get out!
2 Peter 2:17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever. (KJV) This is speaking of false preachers and false teachers and their destiny . . . Hell! Darkness forever! No trees or vegetation there.
Jude 1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. (KJV) Even the angels had a right to choose. These chose to go with Satan and shall one day be cast into Hell. I don’t know about you, but I do not want to live in eternal darkness with evil angels where there are NO trees.
Jude 1:13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever. (KJV)  Jude, like Peter, is speaking of people who teach false doctrines. They are doomed to a dark Hell.
Hell was prepared for the devil, his angels, and all those who do not believe in God (Mat.25:46; Rev. 20:9-10). Hell (the lake of fire, eternal darkness) is the final and eternal state of ALL the wicked after the resurrection and the last judgment. Jesus warns over and over against unbelief! He loves us and is trying to save us from that agonizing, eternal punishment.

Hell IS:

  • A Place of Consciousness (Luke 16:23-24)
  • A Place of Torment (Luke 16:23-24,28)
  • A Place of Darkness (Mat.8:12)
  • Eternal Separation from loved ones who are believers (Luke 13:28)
  • NOT the Slightest Hope of Release (Mat.25:46; Heb.6:2)
  • The Torment of Bad Choices, Bad Memories (Luke 16:27-28)
  • A Place of Fire and Brimstone (Rev.14:10; 20:10; 21;8)

Writing this book has not been a bit enjoyable. I know Hell exists, and I know millions will end up there. Please consider what I have said in this little book.

God made salvation simple so even a child or retarded person could be saved. You simply must believe Jesus is Who He claims to be. You must believe that He is the Christ, the Son of the living God (Mat.16:16).
John 6:28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? 29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. (KJV) The only work that God desires of us is to believe Him and accept His Way of salvation . . . and there is only ONE Way! John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV)  Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (KJV)

Salvation is a Gift (Rom.6:23; Eph.2:8-9)! It is FREE to whosoever! John 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. (KJV)  Only Jesus has the KEY to Heaven! If we believe in Him, we have everlasting life in Heaven with Him. BELIEVE GOD! (1 Jn.5:10-12).

“HEAVEN”

John 14:2-3 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (KJV)

“HELL”

Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (KJV)

The TRUTH about SALVATION

How does a person get to Heaven? Some cults and false religions teach that if the good things you do outweigh the bad, God will let you in. That is absolutely WRONG! It is a damnable heresy (2 Pet.2:1) If you believe this, you are headed for Hell (John 3:16, 18,36; 8:24; 14:6).

There is only ONE Way to Heaven according to the Bible. That is faith in the Blood of Jesus Christ. You could NEVER do enough good deeds in 100 life times to permit you access to Heaven. You could NEVER buy your way to Heaven with all the money in the world. You can NEVER perform enough rituals or sacraments no matter what church you belong to. Faith in Christ is the only way.

The Bible tells us we all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God (Rom.3:23). Since God allows nothing bad or evil to enter Heaven (Rev.21:8,27, 22:15), NO sinner is permitted. We must first believe God, and trust and accept what Jesus did for us on the cross. Only then will the Father credit our account with the righteousness of His Son (1 Cor.1:30; Rom.3:22, 25-26). Only our faith can make us right in God’s eyes, just as Abraham’s faith made him right in God’s eyes all those many years ago (Rom. 3:25-26; 4:3,5-6, 9,22; Gal.3:6).

We have no righteousness of our own (Isa.64:6), any righteousness we possess must come through faith in Christ (Philip. 3:9; Rom.5:1-2).

IF you think you can EARN your way to Heaven, IF you think that you can establish your own righteousness, you are SO wrong! IF you could earn your way to Heaven, then our precious Jesus died for nothing!
Galatians 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.    If we could be saved by keeping the law, or doing good, then there was no need for Christ to die.

God is pure and holy. We are vile sinners, actually we are His enemies. God cannot even look at sin. We must be made “right” in His eyes to have fellowship with Him. Only acceptance of Jesus justifies us, gives us access to the Father and makes us His friends (Rom.5:1-10). There is NO other way! Many say that Way is too narrow (Mat.7:13-14). But friend, that Way is wide enough for the whole world IF they choose to walk it!

Many who seek God are confused about what He wants them to do. False teachers give many answers to this question. But salvation really is simple. Pleasing God does not come from any work we do, but from whom we believe. You must believe Jesus is who He claims to be. We must, like Peter believe He is the Christ, the Son of the living God (Mat.16:16).
John 6:28-29 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? [29] Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.   The only “work” that God asks of us, is to BELIEVE Him!  BELIEF !!!

Salvation is a Gift (Rom.6:23; Eph.2:8-9)! It is absolutely FREE to “whosoever.” John 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. Jesus has the only KEY to Heaven! IF we believe in Him, we have everlasting life in Heaven. Believe God! (John 5:24; 1 John 5:10-12).
