DEATH, THEN WHAT???
Introduction
There are so many false and “damnable” doctrines being taught throughout the world today. You may be thinking “So, you are going to tell me the truth, and that everyone else is a liar.” No, everyone else is not bringing falsehoods about eternity, but the vast majority of preachers and teachers are! Mat.7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: [14] Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (KJV)
I believe Jesus. He CANNOT lie! I believe the Bible, for it is the Word of God, and I believe that Jesus is God! I have been teaching the Bible for over 40 years. Very shortly after I became a born again believer, God made it very clear what my “gift” was, teaching His Word. It has not been easy, especially being a woman, for many men will not hear a woman teacher. I did not choose to teach. God chose me and I am faithful to my calling and I am faithful to my Lord. Our little ministry is still going strong after almost 19 years. If it’s of God, it will stand, if not, it will fall.
I teach the whole Truth, not just what people want to hear, for I shall be held accountable to God. If I do not teach the Bible in its entirety, the good AND the bad, I will one day hear about it. I must teach about Hell, just as I teach about Heaven, because Hell DOES exist, it is a PLACE, just as Heaven exists and Heaven is a place. If I fail to tell the Truth to you, and you end up in Hell, your blood will be on my hands (Eze.3:17-21, 33:1-9). With this booklet, I am “blowing the trumpet,” I am “giving you warning from God”(Eze.3:17).
I realize that many people do NOT believe there is a Hell. They are WRONG! There is an eternal Hell, and IF you do not know Jesus as your personal Saviour and Lord, upon your death, you are most certainly headed there.
DEATH, THEN WHAT???
About Death Chapter 1
There are 3 kinds of “deaths” mentioned in the Bible. Physical death (Gen.3:19; Ecc.12:7; Ps.104.29), spiritual death (Rom.8:6; Jam.1:15; 5:20) and eternal death (2 Thes.1:8-9).
Physical death is separation of the body and soul.
2 Cor. 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. Upon our death, our soul (spirit) goes immediately back to God. (KJV)
Eccles. 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. (KJV)
IF (and only IF) we are a believer in Jesus, we shall be allowed access to Heaven. ALL the souls of unbelievers who have rejected Jesus, go directly to Hades to await judgment of ALL their sins, Hell and eternal death.
We ALL are spiritually dead until we accept Jesus as our Saviour and Lord. The moment we truly believe and accept Him, we are forgiven of ALL our sins, revived and are given life (John 1:12-13; 3:3; 3:15-18; 5:24).
ALL who refuse to believe God and reject His One and Only Way of salvation (Jesus), are eternally dead and will have as their eternal home the agony of Hell. The decision is in your hands. I pray you make the right one, for IF you make the wrong decision, there is NO second chance, NO reprieve, NO purgatory, NO reincarnation, NO more mercy and NO exit doors! Once you pass through the door of death into Hades, you can NEVER pick up your belongings and leave because you don’t like it there! Once you die, it’s over for you. NO more decisions. So make sure you choose right!
Where Will I Go?
Physical death is NOT the end of us as a precise person. Death is the doorway to eternity, the doorway to a continuing existence, in one of two actual places. Most people think there may be a Heaven, but millions of people do NOT believe that there is a literal, real Hell. The Bible clearly states that there most certainly is a Hell.
Should we fear death?
What about fearing death?
Proverbs 10:24 The fear of the wicked, it shall come upon him: but the desire of the righteous shall be granted. (KJV). . . Those without Christ dread the thought of death. Those who do not believe God (1 John 5:10-13) usually fear death, and they have a good reason. But those who have accepted Christ and His Work on the cross KNOW they have eternal life and God’s salvation, and that their hopes shall be rewarded with eternal life in Heaven. God offers ALL people a choice: we can have either our fears of Hell OR our desires of Heaven come true. We make that choice by rejecting God and living our own way (Hell), or by believing God, accepting Christ and following Him (Heaven).
1 John 5:10-13 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. [11] And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. [12] He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. [13] These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. (KJV) . . . We KNOW we have eternal life when we believe on the name of the Son of God. God makes salvation easy, for ALL people, for anyone! So, should we fear death? Do God’s TRUE children have a reason to fear death? NO! Absolutely not!
1 Thes. 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. (KJV) . . . WHO are those who have no hope? It is those who are unbelievers, those who reject Christ Jesus, those that the Bible calls “wicked” (Ps.5:5; 11:5; 32:10; 37:17; 75:10; Mal.3:18; Mt.13:49; 25:33; Jn.5:29; 1 P.3:12; 2 P.2:7; 3:17; Rev.21:7-8; 22:15).
2 Cor. 5:6-8 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: [7] (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) [8] We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. (KJV) . . . When we accept Christ, we can live in peace and be full of courage, for we know that one day, when we die, we will be present with the Lord. Our life is not a matter of sight, but of faith (complete trust) in God. We are full of assurance because we have God’s Promise (insurance) of eternal life (Titus 1:2) and we would much rather leave our home in the body and be at home with the Lord.
Titus 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; God does not lie. (KJV) . . . The basis of our faith is trust in God’s character. Because God is Truth, He is the source of all truth, and He cannot lie. Believing Him leads to godliness, living a God-honoring life-style. The eternal life that God has promised will be ours, because He keeps His Promises. Why fear death when the bliss of Heaven awaits??
1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. (KJV) . . . Before I came to Christ, I was terrified of death. I refused to talk about it to my husband when he would say: “If something happens to me ----.” But, when Jesus came into my life, fear left! I’m ready to go any time now! I do NOT fear death, for death shall put me in His awesome Presence, Face to face! HOW I will die is a concern, for I do not want to be a burden on loved ones, but death itself will be a blessing! Death is not termination, death is germination. Absent from the body, present with the Lord. Thank you Jesus, for all You have done!
When a born again believer (God’s child) dies, that soul goes immediately to be with the Lord.
Luke 23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise. (KJV)
Philip. 1:21-23 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. [22] But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not. [23] For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: (KJV) . . . For a TRUE Christian, life is Christ. Death simply ends this fleeting life here on Earth and places us in His awesome Presence. After death, much more is in store. Death is NOT just being buried in the dust (Gen 3:19). We continue to live! We start a new and eternal life in the Home of God! So actually, we are pulled in two directions. We want to serve Christ in this temporal life, but truly want very much to leave this life and be with Christ, which is a far better thing.
SO, what about unbelievers? The Bible has much to say! I have included only a few verses of a multitude.
Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: (KJV)
Matthew 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. (KJV)
John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (KJV)
Psalm 5:5-6 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity. [6] Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the Lord will abhor the bloody and deceitful man. (KJV)
Job 21:30 That the wicked is reserved to the day of destruction? they shall be brought forth to the day of wrath. (KJV)
Psalm 1:6 For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish. (KJV)
Psalm 7:11 God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day. (KJV) . . . The “wicked” are unbelievers in God’s eyes (Pro.30:12; Hosea 2:4; John 9:31).
Psalm 9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God. (KJV)
Isaiah 1:28 And the destruction of the transgressors and of the sinners shall be together, and they that forsake the Lord shall be consumed. (KJV)
Isaiah 13:9 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. (KJV)
Rev. 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (KJV)
Rev. 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. (KJV)
DEATH, THEN WHAT??? Chapter 2
??Is There Life After Death??
Is death the end of man’s existence, as many believe? Or will we be raised from the dead, as the Bible states? Will we face judgment before a sovereign God? Will we receive eternal rewards in Heaven or face an agonizing, eternal Hell? Do we really have an immortal spirit? Will we really live forever? Will everyone go to Heaven as so many think? Is the Universalism doctrine true? What about reincarnation? Are people reincarnated? Do we just die and that’s it, or shall we be resurrected to face an ultimate reward or punishment? So many questions!
Some people deny life after death. (Materialism)
The Sadducees claimed that man was completely material, having no immortal spirit. They believed that at death, a person ceases to exist. Modern materialists and humanists say that we evolved by natural forces from animals, so like animals, we cease to exist after we die.
Only the righteous exist after death
Some believe that the wicked simply perish, or are annihilated, but the righteous will be raised to an eternal reward. NO where in the Bible is such nonsense! There is MUCH said about the judgment of the wicked, and their destiny . . . an agonizing, eternal Hell. There is also plenty said about two resurrections, one for the just and one for the unjust (Eze. 37:1-10; Dan.12:2; John 5:28-29; Rom. 2:6-16; 2 Thes. 1:6-10; Rev.20:13).
Some people believe in reincarnation.
This is a dark and legendary idea. If reincarnation were true, everyone alive today would have had many previous lives. Some people claim to have memories and abilities from a former life. Oriental religions, and the New Age Movement, teach that after death, we are simply reborn
in a different form (higher or lower, depending on how we lived before we died). Some believe we come back as birds or animals, while others believe we come back as another person. (See: Heb.9:27). WHAT does it say???
Heb. 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: (KJV)
Universalism . . . Everyone goes to Heaven??
This is what many of today’s preachers are preaching, because it is what people want to hear. If a pastor preaches on Hell, people won’t come back. This is condemned by our Lord Jesus. Universalism is a doctrine of men, NOT a doctrine of the Bible!
Mat.15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. (KJV) . . . NO where in the Bible is anything like this found. Quite the opposite . . . the Bible teaches that only a “few” will ever make it to Heaven (Mat.7:14; 20:16; 22:14; Luke 13:23-24; 1 Pet.3:20).
2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. (KJV) . . . Those who teach or preach the damnable “everyone goes to Heaven” doctrine will be damned (condemned to Hell) by God!
Men become gods. Divinity.
Some cults, like the Mormons and New Agers, teach that men become gods (before or after death ??). I think it is only the men, not the women who become gods. This is an absolute corruption of the Holy Word of God. There is but ONE God, that being our Creator God, our Living God. NO one can furnish the slightest bit of evidence to support this damnable belief of people becoming gods, because it is NOT backed Biblically.
Judgment
The very thought of standing before a sovereign God can be terrifying. Is there any evidence that can support this belief? Absolutely!
Mat.25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: (KJV)
Mat.25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. (KJV)
John 5:29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. (KJV)
John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (KJV) . . . You have to be judged to be “condemned.” YES! Everyone who has ever lived shall be judged!
John 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. (KJV) . . . The purpose of Jesus’ first Coming to Earth was NOT to judge people, but to show them the way to find salvation and eternal life. But, when He comes again, one of His main purposes will be to judge people for how they lived on Earth. Christ’s Words that we refuse to accept and obey will condemn us. On Judgment Day, those who accepted Jesus and lived His way will be raised to eternal life (1 Cor. 15:51-57; 1 Thes. 4:15-18; Rev. 21:1-8), but those who rejected Jesus and lived any way they pleased will face eternal punishment (Rev. 20:11-15). I have said this before, but will say it again: I believe the reason we are on Earth is for us to decide where we shall spend eternity. The decision you make before you die, will affect your eternal future. The most important decision you can make is to believe God (1 John 5:10-13) and accept His only begotten Son as your Saviour and Lord (John 3:15-18).
Accept Jesus, Heaven! Reject Jesus, Hell! Your choice!
DEATH, THEN WHAT??? Chapter 3
Resurrection.
1 Cor. 15:13-15 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: [14] And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. [15] Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. (KJV) . . . If there is no resurrection, then we cannot believe the Bible. The Bible gives many testimonies that Jesus WAS raised. Appearances Of Christ After His Resurrection: Mat.28:9,17; Mark 16:8-9, 12; Luke 24:15, 36, 50; John 20:14, 19, 26; 21:1, 4, 14; Acts 1:3; 9:3, 5; 10:40; 13:31; 17:31; 26:15; 1 Cor.15:5-8. Jesus was raised from the dead! He Lives!
Will all people be bodily resurrected? Yes absolutely, according to the Bible . . . unless Jesus takes them home without death at the Rapture (1 Thes.4:13-18).
Acts 24:15 And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust. (KJV)
Daniel 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. (KJV) . . . Also see: Job 19:25-27; Ps.16:10; 17:15; Isa.26:19; 1 Cor. 15:35-50. Both believers and unbelievers shall be bodily resurrected, and shall stand before the Great Judge. NO one will be exempt!
Job 14:14 If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come. (KJV) . . . The Old Testament does not say very much about the resurrection of the dead. This isn’t surprising because Jesus had not yet conquered death. Job wondered about resurrection, and that is understandable. But he does have remarkable hope. We have a great advantage over Job. We know that the dead will rise. Christ arose, and we have Christ’s promise in John 14:19.
John 14:19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. (KJV) . . . Only those who see Christ with an eye of faith, shall see Him for ever! We see Jesus with our heart! The world (unbelievers, wicked) can’t see Him, and won’t see Him until His Second Coming. His disciples have tremendous privileges: communion with Him, even though He is absent; His Holy Spirit abiding within us to help us live as we should, telling us that we are God’s children (Rom.8:16), helping us to pray, helping us know and believe the Gospel of Christ, helping us KNOW that we indeed do have eternal life, and if we have eternal life, we must be resurrected into that new body and new life (1 Cor.15:51-57; 1 Thes.4:14; Phil.3:21).
John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (KJV) . . . This is a fantastic verse!
- #1. Hath (HAS) everlasting life . . . immediately on our believing. John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (KJV) . . . . John 20:31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. (KJV) . . . 1 John 5:12-13 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. [13] These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. (KJV) . . . We CAN KNOW!
- #2. Is passed from death unto life . . . What a transition! Whoever believes in God’s Son HAS eternal life NOW. Christ Jesus is all you need. You do NOT have to wait for eternal life, it begins the moment you believe. You do NOT have to work for it, it is already yours. You do NOT have to worry about it, for you have been given eternal life by God Himself! It is guaranteed.
THERE ARE TWO ROADS
There are two roads, which one will you take?
It’s a decision, ev’ry one must make.
The choice, is completely up to you,
But the Lord really does care, what you do.
There are two roads, one narrow, one wide,
Which one will you take, as thru’ life you stride?
The narrow one, is harder to stay on,
The wide one leads you away, from God’s Son.
The strait, narrow road, to Heaven will lead,
As with Christ you walk, and to Him you heed.
That big, broad road is easier, ‘tis true,
But on that road, Satan will walk with you.
Which road will you take? there are only two,
Look carefully, from eternity’s view.
The small road takes you, where the Lord resides,
The broad road goes, to where Satan will abide.
Consider carefully, the choice you make,
It’s either Heaven, or the Fiery Lake.
Heaven will be total comfort and peace,
Hell will be agony, with no release.

DEATH, THEN WHAT??? Chapter 4
What do YOU believe?
It may be possible that you do not believe in a literal, actual Hell. I teach the Bible, and have for over 40 years. I believe the King James Version of the Bible . . . cover to cover. There are some of the newer versions that I really do consider blasphemy. I want no part of them.
Do you believe there is a Heaven? WHY do you believe there is a Heaven? You probably will say, because of the Bible. Do you know that the Bible mentions Hell much oftener than it mentions Heaven? Jesus speaks of “Hell” 5 times in the Sermon on the Mount (Mat.5:21,22;29;30; 7:13). I feel certain that many pastors have not spoken of “Hell” 5 times in all their years of preaching. That is the one of the main reasons so many people are headed for that horrible place. YES! Hell is an actual, literal place, Hell is real! Do you remember the last time you heard a preacher speak on Hell for all those who rejected Christ? The vast majority of preachers today speak only what the people want to hear.
2 Tim. 4:3-4 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; [4] And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. KJV) . . . Times really haven’t changed much since the days of Isaiah.
Isaiah 30:9-10 That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the Lord: [10] Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: (KJV) . . . History does repeat itself! People simply rebel against God. They want no part of Him, for that would mean giving up some beloved sin. They go to church, acting goody-goody like the pharisees of Jesus’ time. Jesus rightly called the pharisees “hypocrites.” My friend, the world is full of “hypocrites” today!
1 Tim. 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; (KJV)
2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. (KJV)
There are more false preachers and teachers by far, than there are good, truthful people bringing the Word of God. BEWARE! I don’t know what you believe, but I strongly urge you to check out everything that you hear or read with the Bible, including me. There is definitely a Heaven where God’s TRUE children will go, and there is definitely a Hell where the devil’s children (1 John 3:10) will go. I pray that you believe God. Consider the following.
Believers:
Kept in the Father’s Name - John 17:11
Kept in safety - John 17:12
Kept in joyfulness - John 17:13
Kept in purity - John 17:15
Kept separated from the world - John 17:16
Kept in process of sanctification - John 17:17
Kept in active service - John 17:18
Kept in perfect unity - John 17:20-21
Kept for the coming glory - John 17:22-24
Unbelievers:
Their Lifetime Spent In Vanity - Psalm 78:32-33
Already Condemned to Hell- John 3:18
Die In Their Sins - John 8:24
Shall Be Judged By God’s Word In The Last Day - John 12:48
Are Blinded By The God Of This World - 2 Corinthians 4:4
Will Be Grouped With Other Sinners In Eternity - Rev.21:8
DEATH, THEN WHAT??? Chapter 5
What Happens After Death??
Luke 16:19-31 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: [20] And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, [21] And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. [22] And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; [23] And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. [24] And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. [25] But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. [26] And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. [27] Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: [28] For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. [29] Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. [30] And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. [31] And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead. (KJV) . . . Jesus doesn’t say that this is a “parable.” But, if you want to call it a parable, then it is the only one in which He names one of the men.
In this Passage, Jesus tells us of two men who died. One man went to the place of rest (Abraham's bosom). To “be in Abraham’s bosom” meant to enjoy happiness and rest. In other words, he was in Paradise (Heaven).
The other man, the rich man, went to another place; (in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments). Hell is Hades, the place of departed souls. Hades is the temporary Hell, the holding place for the wicked until Judgment Day. No one is in Hell (the Lake of Fire) as yet. The first two will be the Antichrist and the False Prophet (Rev.19:20). Later they will be followed by Satan (Rev.20:10), then ALL who rejected Christ Jesus (Rev.20:15).
It is important that we are told that both the poor man, Lazarus, and the rich man died. God is no respecter of persons. ALL people die, unless Jesus comes and takes us home without death (Rapture, 1 Thes.4:13-18). If you are rich or poor, old or young, someone famous or a person on the street . . . you will eventually die! About 6,000 people die every hour.
Another important fact here is that the poor man on Earth, became the rich man in an eternal Heaven; and that the rich man on Earth, became the poor man in an eternal Hell.
After death, there are only two places a person can go: Heaven or Hades/Hell. Don’t let anyone deceive you into thinking there is an intermediate place before Heaven. NOWHERE in the Bible does it say anything about such a place! The doctrine of Purgatory is absolutely unscriptural, and gives people false hope. Jesus condemns such doctrines.
Mat.15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. (KJV) . . . I can imagine some may be thinking “I don’t like your teaching.” My friend, I teach the Bible . . . the entire Bible, both the good and the bad! I must obey God.
2 Tim. 4:1-2 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; [2] Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. (KJV) . . . I must teach not only what people want to hear, I must teach the Truth as set forth in God’s Word. There is a Heaven; and there is definitely a Hell, and I must warn people about it. I am a “watchman” like the prophets of old and the good preachers and teachers of today. I must warn people that the disaster of rejecting Christ is an eternity in an agonizing Hell. IF I do not warn those with that come into my path, I shall be held responsible by God! But, if I do warn people, telling them the Truth of the Bible, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and they do not pay heed to me, I will not be responsible for them, his blood shall be upon his own head (Eze.33:1-11). The Lord God has no pleasure in the death of the wicked (Eze.33:11). He wants all people to turn from their wicked ways and live. The “wicked” are all those who refuse to believe God. See what the Bible says about the wicked: Psalm 1:1-6; 5:5-6; 7:11; Pro.1:24-31; 11:3; 29:1; Mat.13:15; 24:38-39; Rom.1:24, 26, 28-32; 2:4-5; 1 Cor. 1:18; 2 Thes. 1:8-9; 2 Thes. 2:11-12; Titus 1:16; 3 John 1:11; Rev. 1:7; 2:21-22; 3:17.
1 John 5:10-13 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. (KJV) . . . Please don’t call God a “liar.”
Going back now to Luke 16:19-31 . . . see that Hell is a definite place of indescribable TORMENT! [23] And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. The rich man, now in Hades, was in great pain, he looked up and saw Abraham, far away, with Lazarus at his side. . . . He was in agony and Hades is just the temporary Hell. How much worse will the Lake of Fire be? “In Torments.”
[24] And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. . . . The rich man cries out in anguish to Abraham. He wanted mercy, something that he never showed to Lazarus in his life. He begged Abraham to send Lazarus, to dip his finger in some water and cool off his tongue, because he was in great pain in this fire. Poor Lazarus, was his grieving victim on Earth. All is now changed! It is reversed! I’m sure the rich man now repents of his merciless neglect of Lazarus.
[25] But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. . . . “Son” is stinging admission of the rich man’s claimed relationship. Abraham clearly tells the rich man, that in your lifetime you were given all the good things, while Lazarus got all the bad things (vs.20-21). But now, things are all changed around! Lazarus is in comfort and enjoying himself while you are in pain. “Tormented.”
There is a day coming, when all those who now hate and despise God and the people of God, would gladly receive any small kindness from them. But the condemned in Hell shall not have the smallest reduction in their torment. I truly believe that we are on Earth for one reason . . . that being, to decide where we shall spend eternity. We have a choice: to believe God, and accept Christ Jesus as Saviour and Lord OR call God a “liar” and reject Jesus. Accepting Jesus gives us Heaven; rejecting Jesus gives us Hell. It is absolutely the most important decision you will ever make in your life! Please believe this. Your eternal future depends on your decision.
Just as many wicked people have good things only in this life, and at death are for ever separated from all good . . . so too, many godly people have only evil things in this life, and at death they are for ever put away from them.
[28] For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. The rich man wanted Abraham to send Lazarus to his five brothers, to tell them of the torment of Hell. . . . But Jesus said here that IF they did not believe Moses and the prophets, who spoke constantly of the duty to care for the poor, not even a resurrection would convince them. Notice the irony in Jesus’ statement; on His way to Jerusalem to die, He was fully aware that even when He had risen from the dead, most of the religious leaders would not accept Him.
Now we will see that Hell is also a place of REMEMBRANCE. [25] But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. . . .Those in Hell will be able to remember exactly WHY they were there. They will remember all the times they heard or read the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They will be plagued by the memory of how they were deceived into believing false doctrines, or just wanted no part at all of God and His Son,
Jesus Christ. Some will remember how the Holy Spirit tried to reach them. They were under conviction, but refused to open their heart’s door to Jesus (Rev. 3:20). And some may remember a sermon they heard, or possibly remember reading the words I now write; but they decided to “wait a while.” “Waiting a while” is the same as saying NO to Jesus. One day you may remember me telling you that you would remember.
Something else this Passage in Luke 16:19-31 tells us is that there is NO HOPE and NO EXIT in Hell. [26] And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. The rich man now sees that he is doomed. He has no hope of a better place. He has no hope of escape. “A great gulf fixed” a huge ravine, abyss, chasm, gorge, pit . . . no way for him to get out! No one could cross from either direction. There is NO second chance after death!
Heb.9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: (KJV) . . . Those people who constantly use God’s Name in vain, and those who use such expressions as “Go to Hell” or “To Hell with you” cannot be thinking properly. Unless they repent and trust the Lord Jesus as their personal Saviour and Lord BEFORE they die, they shall soon know the torments of this awful place. NO second chance, NO exit doors, NO hope, when a person finds themselves in Hell.
MEMORIES YOU WILL HAVE
If you choose the broad road that leads to Hell,
That place of judgment, where all evil dwells.
You will have memories, for ever more,
The Bible does tell what is held in store.
Today most folk don’t study the Good Book,
They’d see for themselves, if they’d just look!
ALL who reject Christ, will end up in Hell,
And in that awful place, for e’er they’ll dwell!
Those who are there, wish they had one more try,
They look back; and for loved ones do cry.
Rejection of Jesus, they see in remorse,
If they had one more chance, they’d change their course!
The anger, pain, misery, and the thirst,
All the suffering; their minds near do burst.
Such a clear memory, of when on Earth,
But they rejected Christ, and all His worth!
If you were to ask any one of those,
There in dark Hell, where God’s judgment flows,
“Is there any thing I can do for you?”
They’d say: “Yes, tell others what Christ can do.”

NO ESCAPE
Have you ever heard anyone carelessly say,
“If I go to Hell, I’ll have much company?”
You’re deceiving yourself, I am here to tell,
For friend, you do NOT want to go to Hell!
There will be no one in Hell, to be your friend,
Friendship with everyone, has come to an end.
You’ll have no company, but be all alone,
You’ll wish you’d listened, and to Jesus had gone.
There’ll be no tears in Heav’n, for those God keeps,
But it’s opposite in Hell, there all shall weep.
Weeping and wailing, and gnawing of tongues,
And after a thousand years, it’s only begun!
There will be NO escape, from the prison of Hell,
Absolutely for certain, there you shall dwell.
There are NO ‘exit’ doors, to escape any day,
NO parole for good behavior, NO partial stay!
Only one question I would like to ask you,
Are you headed for Hell? or Heav’n in the blue?
ONLY Jesus can save you from the pits of Hell,
Just turn to Him, and in Heav’n, you shall dwell.

If you were to die today, would your soul be in Heaven? OR Hades/Hell? Your eternal destiny is decided by the choice (decision) that you make in this life on Earth. No matter WHO you are, whatever your culture, race or country, there is only ONE Way to Heaven and that is JESUS! This is fact! You believe what you want but it will still be fact, Truth!
Jesus has the only key to Heaven.
John 3:15-18 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. [16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. [17] For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. [18] He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (KJV)
John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. (KJV)
John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (KJV)
John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. (KJV)
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV)
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (KJV)
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (KJV) . . . If you are NOT born into God’s family, you won’t even SEE Heaven!
HOW TO BE BORN AGAIN!
John 1:12-13 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: [13] Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (KJV)
DEATH, THEN WHAT??? Chapter 6
Judgment Seat of Christ
1 Cor. 3:11-17 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. [12] Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; [13] Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. [14] If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. [15] If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. [16] Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? [17] If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. (KJV) . . . Paul says that we can build on the Foundation with six kinds of material: gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble. Fire won’t hurt the first three on the list. In fact, the fire purifies gold and silver and precious stones. But fire really gets rid of the last three on the list. Wood, hay, and stubble will all go up in smoke. The believer has the option to build (his life) with whatever he chooses.
Anything that we do for the cause of Christ will stand, meaning that we are building with gold, silver, or precious stones.
Anything done for selfish self in our life is building with wood, hay, stubble. ALL our works shall be tested by fire at the Judgment Seat of Christ where all TRUE believers will stand before the Great Judge.
What Paul is teaching here is that believers can work for a reward. WE certainly CANNOT work for salvation, but we absolutely CAN work for rewards in Heaven! If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward [vs.14], IF we are building with gold, silver, or precious stones . . . OR serving our Lord!
There are a lot of people building haystacks, and everybody hears about what they are doing. The haystacks are going to be tested someday, and then there won’t be one haystack left, because the testing is going to be by fire. The same thing will be true of works of wood or stubble. If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire [vs.15].
There is quite a contrast: If our work stands, we shall receive a reward; if our work goes up in smoke, we will suffer a terrible loss, but he himself will be saved, as by the “skin of his teeth.” A TRUE believer does not lose his salvation if he is really ON the Foundation, which is trust in Christ, even though he receives no reward. The Judgment Seat is for us to find out if we receive rewards OR loss of rewards we could have had.
Friend, what are you building with today? If you are building with gold, it may not show up too well now. But, if you are building a haystack, it will really stand out on the today’s horizon, but in the end, it will be totally consumed by fire. I think there are going to be some people in Heaven who will be there because their Foundation is Christ, but they will smell as if they had been bought at a fire sale! Everything they ever did will have gone up in smoke. They will not receive a reward for their works. They won’t have any crowns to cast at Jesus’ Feet.
If you are a carnal Christian (hypocrite), you cannot expect a reward because you are not truly related to God through the Word of God. The carnal Christian (professing to be Christians) are the ones who do not know the Word of God. The natural man (unbelievers) says it is foolishness. The spiritual man (TRUE believers) discerns the Word, and it gives him spiritual insight. The carnal Christian (hypocrites) says, “Let’s party! Who needs Bible study? Let’s rock.” That’s how you know the carnal Christian. They say they are “Christians” but want no part of Christ!
1 Cor. 3:16-17 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? [17] If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. God’s children are the temple of the Holy Spirit. (KJV) . . . Our very bodies belong to Him!
Some other verses telling us of our rewards: 1 Cor. 3:8; 3:14; 15:58; Gal. 6:9; Eph. 6:8; Col. 3:24; 2 Tim. 4:8; Rev. 11:18.
A building (here, our life) is only as solid as its foundation. The Foundation of our lives is Jesus Christ; He is our base, our reason for being. Everything we are and do should fit into the pattern provided by Him. Are you building your life on the only real and lasting Foundation, or are you building on a faulty foundation such as wealth, security, success, or fame? Two ways to destroy a building are to tamper with the foundation and to build with inferior materials. The church (born again believers, the body of Christ) must be built on Christ, NOT on any other person or principle. Christ will judge the worth of each person’s contribution to the life of the church, and the Judgment Seat of Christ will reveal just how sincere each person’s work was. The Judge will decide whether or not they have been faithful to Jesus’ instructions. Good work will be rewarded; unfaithful or inferior work will be discounted. The builder “will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames” means that unfaithful workers will be saved, but like people escaping from a burning building. All their accomplishments, their life’s work, will be lost.
We must all appear, Paul is writing to believers. All TRUE believers will be judged, that we may receive the things done in the body. We will be judged on the way we lived our Christian life, how we have lived in these bodies down here. When we go into His awesome Presence, we will have new glorified bodies, like Jesus’ Body (Phil. 3:21). The question Jesus will ask is how did we use these bodies. Just how did we live down here on Earth?
DEATH, THEN WHAT??? Chapter 7
The GREAT WHITE THRONE
Let me make it very clear that there are two Judgments: the Judgment Seat is not the Great White Throne Judgment. The Judgement Seat is for believers only! The Great White Throne Judgment is for the unsaved only.
If you are a believer, your name is written in the Book of Life, and you have eternal life (John 5:24). However, you will absolutely stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ, to be judged for rewards or loss of rewards. You and I will stand before Him. This should motivate us to serve Him in an acceptable way. I want to see delight on Jesus’ Face, and I want to hear “Well done, thou good and faithful servant” (Mat.25:21,23). How about you?
GREAT WHITE THRONE,
WHERE THE LOST ARE JUDGED
Rev. 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. (KJV) . . . The Great White Throne is what some incorrectly call the general judgment. It is general only in the sense that all the lost of all ages are resurrected to be judged here. All who are saved have been raised in the first resurrection. Even the tribulation saints have part in the first resurrection. This is the second resurrection in which the lost are raised to be given a fair and just assessment of their works.
Please do not be like some people and say: “Don’t talk to me about the future. I’ll take my chances. I believe God is going to be just and righteous and let me present my works.”
This is right to some extent! God IS just and righteous, and He SHALL let you present your works. BUT, at this judgment NO one is saved, because you CANNOT be saved by your works. When you stand in the blazing light of the righteous Presence of God, your little works won’t amount to a hill of beans!
You need Christ Jesus as Saviour in order to stand in His Presence; you must be clothed with the righteousness of Christ (1 Cor.1:30). Without Christ we all are sinners and we all are lost. If you try to compare yourself with other people, that won’t work either! You may be as good, or better, than your neighbor; but God will NEVER compare you to another person, He will look to see if you have been cleansed by the Blood of Jesus.
In your life there are things that you have covered up and that you would not reveal them for anything in the world. Well . . . Jesus is going to bring them all out in the open at this judgment. While you try to present your little bouquet, He is going to tell you about yourself. You need a Saviour today, so you don’t have to stand before this terrifying White Throne sometime in the future.
This is the Great White Throne, and the holiness of this throne is revealed in the reaction of Heaven and Earth to it: “from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away.” John’s vision of this mighty Throne is so powerful that even Heaven and Earth flee from its presence. Those who stand before the Judge in this Great White Throne Judgment, are from the second resurrection; that of the wicked or unjust (Daniel 12:2; Acts 24:15).
The One seated on the throne is the Lord Jesus Christ.
John 5:22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: (KJV)
John 5:26-29 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; [27] And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. [28] Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, [29] And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. (KJV) . . . Those who have done good are they who have accepted Christ. They come forth unto the resurrection of life . . . meaning the first resurrection. They who have done evil are those who blatantly rejected Christ. They come forth unto the resurrection of damnation and condemnation . . . that is the Great White Throne judgment.
Rev. 20:12-13 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. [13] And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. (KJV) . . . When the wicked (unjust, unbelievers) are resurrected, they will be judged according to their works. This Judgment will be just, you WILL get a fair trial! God keeps ‘books’ on everyone! I believe there are different degrees of rewards for believers (in Heaven), and different degrees of punishment for unbelievers (in Hell), see Luke 12: 47-48. Some think that God will weigh the good against the bad; and if the good outweighs the bad, they will go to Heaven. WRONG, as you will see in the next verses! Some ask: “How can God resurrect those who have been dead at sea for long periods? And what about those who have been burned to death?” With God all things are possible! He created the Universe and everything in it, He can surely resurrect bodies? The persons to be judged are the wicked dead from ALL ages, small and great; young and old, lowly beggars and the famous, poor and rich. EVERY person who has ever lived will have to account for all they have done. Even the sinner’s thoughts (conscience), once secret, will then be opened. Everyone will recall all his/her past actions, even though he/she had long forgotten many of them.
Rev. 20:14-15 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. [15] And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (KJV) Cast into the lake of fire, which is the second death. The Lord also called it “outer darkness.” I believe that this is symbolic of something much worse than literal fire or outer darkness. It is eternal separation from God (2 Thes.1:8-9), for death means separation.
The Great White Throne Judgment shall be a horrifying time indeed. ALL lost souls will stand before the Judge who sits on this Throne. Their destination has already been decided . . . Hell! Those who reject Christ are already condemned!
John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (KJV) Only Jesus can save us from the one thing that we really need to fear . . . eternal condemnation to HELL.
DEATH, THEN WHAT???
Closing Comments
What this little book is all about is your eternal future. What you believe matters! The Bible clearly tells us that there are just two roads leading to your eternal destiny. So which road you choose also really matters, very much!
Mat.7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: [14] Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (KJV) . . . The narrow, strait road leads to Heaven. The broad, wide road leads to Hell. Which one are you on? I hope you are not on the one that the majority of the world’s population is on, the one going to Hell. Hell is forever and ever! Your life could be over with your next heartbeat. After death, it will be too late to make a choice. Are you 100% sure that you will go to Heaven when you die? Do you really consider the FACT that some day you really will die (unless Jesus comes at the Rapture), and that you really will be resurrected and stand before Jesus in judgment? This is really serious stuff we’re talking about here. Do you really take it seriously enough? Are you really ready for death, resurrection and judgment?
How can Christians be so sure they are right and everyone else is wrong? Isn’t this being cocky and arrogant? TRUE Christianity is absolutely intolerant of other beliefs. WHY? Because we believe the Bible to be the unerring Word of God Himself! We simply cannot tolerate anything that goes against the Bible.
TRUE Christianity is also exclusive. Anyone not born again into the family of God is NOT a child of God . . .they simply are NOT saved! They are lost and bound for Hell!
The Way to Eternal Life
John 20:31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. (KJV) . . . The Gospel includes everything we need to know to believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, through whom we receive eternal life.
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.(KJV) . . . You won’t even SEE Heaven without being born again! So How do you become born again into God’s family? The Bible tells you!
John 1:12-13 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: [13] Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (KJV) . . . Anyone (whosoever) believes on Jesus’ Name, and accepts Him into their heart and life, become children of God. They are born again! Jesus has the right and power to make us God’s children. We are spiritually reborn! This is not like a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, this rebirth comes from God.
John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (KJV) . . . IF we believe in faith, we have eternal life immediately!
John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. (KJV) . . . If you doubt and refuse to accept Christ, you are doomed. Die in your sins = Hell.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV) . . . Jesus is the ONLY Way! Also: Acts 4:12.
CITY OF GOLD
One day I’ll walk on that street of gold,
For I am His child, and in His fold.
I’ll go to that golden city so high,
And be so joyous, ne’er more to cry.
Christ has gone on to prepare a place,
Someday soon, I’ll see His glorious Face.
He will come again for me and you,
For all who believe, and to Him are true.
That city of beauty, made of pure gold,
And the glory of God we’ll behold.
No need for the sun or moon to shine,
The glory of God will lighten so fine.
That holy city, New Jerusalem,
Will come down from God, as a fine gem.
He shall be our God, holy and true,
We shall be His people, me and you.
If you know our Saviour, Christ the Lord,
You’ll see this city on your own accord.
You too will walk on those streets of gold,
Heir to His Kingdom of beauty untold!

MOST
The thought of death causes most to fear,
For most, do not want, God’s Word to hear.
Most know deep down, there’s more than this life,
But they just keep on, with fear and strife.
Each has within, an eternal soul,
Most are headed for the gates of Sheol.
Most are traveling the road to Hell,
And most will never in Heaven dwell.
There is a ‘WAY’ you can reach Heaven,
Accept God’s Gift, He’s freely given.
Believe on Jesus, God’s only Son,
And eternal life for you, has begun.
God did not make Hell for human kind,
But for most, the gates of Hell they’ll find.
Just a few, travel the narrow road,
That leads to Heaven’s blissful abode.
Does the thought of death, cause you to fear?
The love of Christ, can make it disappear.
His perfect love gives a way out of Hell,
Accept it, and, in Heaven you’ll dwell.

So many people fear death. I certainly did for a long while . . . until I opened the door of my heart to Jesus. When He came into my life, fear of death was no more! 2 Cor. 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. (KJV) . . . Now, when I think of death, there is no more fear of the unknown. I KNOW when I die, my soul will be carried into Heaven (Luke 16:22), and I’ll be present with my Lord.
WHY WOULD HE SPARE YOU??
If God spared not the angels that did sin,
But cast them to Hades; all chained within.
Reserved in the darkness; judgment to wait,
Why would He spare you? for His Son you do hate.
If God spared not the old world, way back then,
But brought a flood, where the ungodly had been.
Saved just Noah’s family, out of respect,
Why would He spare you? for His Son you reject.
If God spared not Sodom and Gomorrah,
But turned them to ashes with brimstone and fire.
Made them an example, to not live in sin,
Why would He spare you? for His Son you won’t win.
God won’t spare filthy dreamers of today,
That preach Heaven by some other way.
And the ones that listen, and take it all in,
Won’t be spared either, for it’s all sin!
God made just one Way of salvation for man,
We must BELIEVE Him; accept His only plan!
God sent His own Son to take away our sin,
Unless you believe and accept Christ; you can’t win!

Some people believe that God will save all people because He is so loving. Yes! Absolutely, God is loving. BUT, God is NOT a liar! He clearly states that He hates sin and that He shall punish the wicked. Do you believe God? Or do you believe some money hungry preacher who teaches only what you want to hear? Please consider the examples in 2 Peter 2:4-9.
NO MORES OF HELL
No more wonderful fragrance of a rose,
No more beautiful birds; can you suppose?
No more blue skies, with fluffy clouds so white,
And no more children with laughter so bright.
No more peace at heart, no more feeling swell,
No more joyous occasions; not in Hell.
No more fishing or boating on water clear,
Friend, there is no more water, no where near!
No more friendship of joy, found in that throng,
No more comforts of home, no loving song.
No more music or laughter in that place,
No more of God’s mercy, pardon, or grace!
No more light, not even a tiny bit,
No more tranquillity, no contentment.
No more goodness of any kind, e’er more,
No more blessings from God will be in store!
No more love, joy, nor happiness in Hell,
Is this the place you have chosen to dwell?
No more beauty of nature on Hell’s banks,
Just darkness forever; ‘twill be so rank!
You’re on the way to Heav’n or Hell this day,
Only Jesus can get you to Heav’n’s way!
But if you do reject God’s only Son,
Hell does await, and agony begun.
