CREATION
God Controls His Creation
God is sovereign!
God is great!
God is wise!
We have an Amazing God!!!!
“In the beginning” God called into being, all things out of nothing. All things exists only because of the will of God. The one great end in the Work of Creation is to display the glory of the Creator. Rom.11:36 For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen. (KJV)
SALVATION
God's Works and His Word, equally reveal precisely WHO He is; that being the Almighty Creator of ALL things, and ALL creatures, which includes mankind. In His awesome creative Work, God in His wisdom also designed a plan for our salvation, for He knew we would turn against Him and sin in a most willful manner. So, God in His wisdom gave us His Son to save us from our sins. He made available to us a Saviour.
In its highest sense, Saviour speaks of the relationship held by our Lord to His redeemed ones. He is our Saviour. The great message of the Gospel is about salvation and the Saviour. Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ secures for the sinner a personal interest in His work of redemption. Salvation is redemption made effective to all individuals who believe God, by the power of the Holy Spirit.
SAVING FAITH
Saving faith is not alone. It has eternal life connected with it. Faith in Christ Jesus is a saving grace. With faith, we rest upon Him alone for salvation, and accept Him as He is offered to us in the Gospel. Faith is believing the Truth revealed in the Word of God. Faith accepts and believes it completely. Faith is then, believing God! Faith unites us to Christ, has as its object the Person and the Work of the Lord Jesus Christ (John 7:38; Acts 16:31). Faith is the only channel by which a sinner is justified before God (Rom.3:22, 25; 5:1; Gal.2:16; Phil. 3:9; John 3:16-36; Acts 10:43). By faith the believer immediately accepts Christ as his own. Faith makes Christ ours. Saving faith is a moral act, coming from a renewed will, which is necessary to believing the truth of God (1 Cor. 2:14; 2 Cor. 4:4). Faith is absolutely necessary for our salvation (Mark 16:16).
John 6:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. (KJV) Believe in faith, the only work God demands.
Ephes. 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast. (KJV) God’s grace, our faith is the ONLY way we are saved.
John 1:12-13 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: [13] Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (KJV) Only Jesus has power to make us God’s children when we believe in faith on His Name.
Gal.3:26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. (KJV) Only faith in Christ Jesus makes us God’s children.
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (KJV) You must be born into God’s family or you will NOT even see Heaven!
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV) Only Jesus has the key to Heaven.
1 John 5:10-12 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. [11] And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. [12] He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
GOD CONTROLS HIS CREATION
Introduction
We recently had some cold, nasty weather; rain, sleet, and freezing temperatures that created icy conditions. This part of Texas is not accustomed to such weather. My office has no heat. For days I didn’t even go in, just studied the Bible here in the kitchen. During this time, the Lord gave me several new poems. The more I read the one, the more I knew that it should be created into a booklet.
God is so amazing, so awesome! When I started to look up Scriptures for the poem, I couldn’t stop my studies. One thing led to another and soon I realized (again) just how amazing God is. God is SO good!
It astounds me that this awesome Being allows me (and you) to call Him “Father.” (1 John 3:1; 1 John 5:1).
GOD’S CREATION
Where were we, when God created the world?
Where were we, when the Earth was unfurled?
Of its measurements, which of us know?
Or how deep is its foundation, below?
Where were we, when He made the stars above?
Where were we, when the angels sang out in love?
Where were we, when He shut the doors of the sea?
Where were we, when He set its boundaries?
Can we command, the morning to arrive?
Will our wisdom or power, help us survive?
Can we enter into, the ocean’s springs?
Or walk its depth, to know where it begins?
Have the gates of death, been open’d to you?
Does the shadow of death, give you a clue?
Can you perceive the Earth, O so v’ry wide?
Ev’n tho’ on its surface, you do reside.
Just where does the light dwell, or the darkness?
Where is the place, can you dare confess?
Have you enter’d into the snow’s treasure?
Or the hail, that He sends at His pleasure?
Just how does God part, the dark and the light?
Why does He send the wind, in day or night?
How does He decide the route of thunder?
Is it His wisdom? or is it blunder?
Does rain have a father? who begets the dew?
What about the ice? and the hoary frost too?
Where were we, when the laws of heaven were set?
With God in charge of all, we need never fret.

See: Job chapter 38
God is in complete control of ALL nature, ALL Creation! He made ALL, sees ALL, knows ALL, and controls ALL. He can do His will with ALL nature as He sees fit! He is the absolute and sovereign ruler of the Universe.
We during life, never even see the gates of the realm of the dead; much less are they "opened" to us. But everything is naked before God (Job 26:6). Job 26:6 Hell is naked before him, and destruction hath no covering. (KJV)
I hope you enjoy reading this booklet half as much as I am enjoying writing it. We all need to admit and accept the fact that God controls His Creation. Let us all praise Him!
GOD CONTROLS HIS CREATION
Chapter 1 Nature
Its Beauty reflects God’s glory. Luke 12:27 Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. (KJV) Did you ever really look at a beautiful flower? Did you ever really consider just how many different varieties there are? Each part of the world has its own vegetation. When we lived in Arizona, there was a wide variety of cactus. Cactus flowers are some of the most beautiful in all the world. There was an ugly stick-like cactus just off the patio. I didn’t know why we never ripped it out . . . until one morning. Then I knew that God was in control of us leaving that thing there. WOW! The night before, nothing! But the next morning, it had three of the most beautiful flowers on it that I had ever seen. By noon, they were gone. Their beauty clearly revealed God’s awesome glory! Someone later told us that it was called a “Night Blooming Syros”. I don’t think that is how to spell it.
Its Lessons reveal God’s careful design. Mark 4:28 For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear. (KJV) Physical growth of humans and vegetation is a slow process. I think this reveals that spiritual growth is a continual, gradual process, similar to physical growth that is finally completed in a harvest of spiritual maturity. We can comprehend the process of spiritual growth when we compare it to the slow but sure growth of plants.
Psalm 8:3-4 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; [4] What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? (KJV) If we are to truly respect God’s greatness, we must compare ourselves to His greatness. We should feel small, a tiny speck on this Earth’s surface. To feel small is good; but God does not want us to dwell on our smallness. Humility actually means rightful and proper respect for God, not self-depreciation.
Mysteries of nature. Psalm 139:13-15 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. [14] I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. [15] My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. (KJV) God created every part of us. Everything that He does is strange and wonderful. When our bones were being formed, He carefully put them together in our mother's womb. Even when we were growing there in secret, He knew that we were there. He knew then what and who we would be. He knows our name, and the number of hairs on our head.
Eccles. 11:5 As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all. (KJV) God made everything. We can no more understand what He does than you understand how life begins in the womb of a pregnant woman. I firmly believe that life begins at conception. How can anyone murder someone that God has allowed to be a living being? This is beyond my comprehension. Abortion is murder, no matter in what stage the fetus is. All who perform abortion, or allow abortion to be done on them, shall one day stand before the Almighty Judge. If you are guilty, what excuse will you give? If you are considering abortion, please reconsider! IT IS A CHILD!
GOD CONTROLS HIS CREATION
Chapter 2 Clouds
CLOUDS. Gen.9:16 And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth. (KJV)
When Noah stepped out of the ark, all human life was gone. But God made him a Promise (Gen.9:8-17). This covenant had three parts: (1) never again will a flood do such destruction; (2) as long as the earth remains, the seasons will always come as expected; (3) a rainbow will be visible when it rains as a sign to all that God will keep His Promises. The Earth’s order and seasons are still preserved, and rainbows still remind us of God’s faithfulness to His Word.
Exodus 13:21 And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night: (KJV) The pillars of fire and cloud were examples of theophany (God Presence). God lighted Israel’s path, gave them reassurance and protected them from enemies.
Num.9:16-17 So it was alway: the cloud covered it by day, and the appearance of fire by night. [17] And when the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle, then after that the children of Israel journeyed: and in the place where the cloud abode, there the children of Israel pitched their tents. (KJV) At night the cloud changed, to look like fire. When the cloud lifted from over the sacred tent, the people of Israel followed it. And wherever the cloud settled, the people of Israel camped.
1 Kings 18:44-45 And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man's hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not. [45] And it came to pass in the mean while, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel. (KJV) Elijah had brought the Word of the Lord to Ahab. It would not rain for 3 1/2 years (1 Kings 17:1; Jam.5:17). Now the rain is coming. The sky was so clear that it made the smallest speck clearly visible. A tiny cloud rises, becoming larger and larger with amazing speed, until the whole heaven is black, and the cloud bursts open in a downpour of rain. Only God could keep it from raining all that time, then bring the rain out of seemingly nowhere.
Job 37:15-16 Dost thou know when God disposed them, and caused the light of his cloud to shine? [16] Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge? (KJV) Clouds are balanced in the air, so that their watery gravity does not bring them to the earth. The clouds floating in the sky is the work of God's amazing wisdom and skill.
Psalm 104:2-3 Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain: [3] Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind: (KJV) How great God is! He is clothed with majesty and glory. The heavens are His curtain. The rafters of His Home is in the rain clouds. The clouds is His chariot. He rides on the wind. God’s wise and mighty act of Creation and His control of it, deserves the praise of all people.
GOD CONTROLS HIS CREATION
Chapter 3 Cold, Snow
Genesis 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease. (KJV) Every change of season should remind us of God’s magnificent and majestic power and wisdom. His control over nature is absolutely astounding. It just keeps on keeping on, year after year. Spring, summer, fall, winter. The seasons never fail. Animals get heavy coats for winter, then shed it off in spring. Bears hibernate in winter. Geese fly south for winter, then fly north in the spring. How do they know when to go? Or which direction? Vegetation dies off for winter, then sprouts new leaves in spring. God takes care of ALL His Creation! The more I think of our God’s control of nature, the more amazing He is to me.
Job 37:6 For he saith to the snow, Be thou on the earth; likewise to the small rain, and to the great rain of his strength. (KJV) God can speak and direct the snow (when and how much) to fall on the Earth and tells the rain to arrive, just like He spoke Creation into being!
Job 37:9 Out of the south cometh the whirlwind: and cold out of the north. (KJV) The stormy wind comes from its chamber in God’s treasury, and the driving winds bring the cold. A whirlwind could be a hurricane, tornado, cyclone or a dust devil in the desert. No matter what it is, God is in complete control.
Job 38:22 Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail, (KJV) God has storehouses, from which He draws forth snow and hail. Snow is vapor (mist) congealed in the air before it is collected in drops large enough to form hail. Its shape is that of a crystal in endless variety of beautiful figures. Hail is formed by rain falling through dry cold air. Has anyone ever been inside God’s storehouses?? No, nor will they ever be!
Psalm 147:16-17 He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoar frost like ashes. [17] He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold? (KJV) I was born in Pennsylvania. I have seen cold winters, but nothing like those in Alaska or the North Pole. I can only imagine the cold there, the snow, frost and ice. Again, I am amazed at just how God keeps everything running perfectly year after year. Never once does He make a mistake and send snow or ice where it is not supposed to go.
Psalm 74:16-17 The day is thine, the night also is thine: thou hast prepared the light and the sun. [17] Thou hast set all the borders of the earth: thou hast made summer and winter. (KJV) The orders of nature are established and the boundaries of Earth are fixed by God.
Job 6:16 Which are blackish by reason of the ice, and wherein the snow is hid: (KJV) This pictures a stream muddy with melted ice and snow, descending from the mountains. The melted snow is, in the writer’s view, hidden in the flood.
Job 38:30 The waters are hid as with a stone, and the face of the deep is frozen. (KJV) Surface water freezes hard as rock. Unfrozen waters underneath are “hid” like covering them with stone. God can do it ALL my friend! He can freeze water hard as a rock, thaw it, or boil it in a volcano.
GOD CONTROLS HIS CREATION
Chapter 4 Hail
HAIL. Exodus 9:23 And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven: and the Lord sent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon the ground; and the Lord rained hail upon the land of Egypt. (KJV) Woeful havoc resulted in the hail coming from the 7th plague in Egypt. It killed both men and cattle; the corn above ground was destroyed, saving only that which had not yet come up. The land of Goshen wasn’t touched by the hail. God causes rain or hail on one city and not on another, either in mercy or in judgment. This storm was horrendous! Huge hailstones fell, thunder pealed in dreadful, fearful volleys, and lightning swept along the ground like fire.
Psalm 18:13 The Lord also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail stones and coals of fire. (KJV) Storms can be a solemn scene of terror. When a storm arrives, thunder follows lightning, and hail with repeated lightning, often like balls or coals of fire.
Isaiah 28:2 Behold, the Lord hath a mighty and strong one, which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand. (KJV) Here, hail is a destroying storm, and a flood of mighty waters symbolizes Assyria to come down on Samaria for their sin. Flood, waters = armies, people: Jer. 46:7-8; 47:2; Isa.17:12; Dan.9:26; Rev.12:15; 17:15. God also controls nations!
Psalm 105:32 He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land. (KJV) Instead of soft, gentle rain, God sent deadly hail. Violent flashes of lightning overwhelmed the land. Again, speaking of the 7th plague in Egypt.
Joshua 10:11 And it came to pass, as they fled from before Israel, and were in the going down to Beth-horon, that the Lord cast down great stones from heaven upon them unto Azekah, and they died: they were more which died with hailstones than they whom the children of Israel slew with the sword. (KJV) The Amorites were defeated by God’s treasury of hailstones!
Rev. 8:7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up. (KJV) Since only one-third of the Earth is destroyed by the trumpet judgments, this is only a partial judgment from God. His full wrath is yet to be unleashed. This is prophecy. This SHALL happen! Believe it!
Rev. 16:21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great. (KJV) The people in the Tribulation period, shall go through some extremely agonizing judgments from God because of their wickedness. Unbelief is a terrible sin to God! They realize that all the judgments come from God because they curse Him for sending them. But they still refuse to recognize God’s authority and repent of their sins. Christians should not be surprised at the hostility and hardness of heart of unbelievers. Even when the power of God is fully revealed, many will still refuse to repent. If you ignore God, turn back to Him now before your heart becomes too hard to repent.
GOD CONTROLS HIS CREATION
Chapter 5 Thunder
THUNDER. 1 Samuel 7:10 And as Samuel was offering up the burnt offering, the Philistines drew near to battle against Israel: but the Lord thundered with a great thunder on that day upon the Philistines, and discomfited them; and they were smitten before Israel. (KJV) The prophet's prayers and sacrifice were answered by such a tremendous storm of thunder and lightning that the assailants were panic-stricken and fled.
1 Samuel 12:18 So Samuel called unto the Lord; and the Lord sent thunder and rain that day: and all the people greatly feared the Lord and Samuel. (KJV) At Samuel’s word, God sent thunder and rain, at a season of the year when, in that country, the like was not seen. This was to convince them they had done wickedly in asking a king; not only by its coming at an unusual time, in wheat harvest, and on a clear day, but by the prophet’s giving notice of it before. He showed their folly in desiring a king to save them, rather than God, relying more from an arm of flesh, than from the arm of God, or from the power of prayer. Samuel accomplished much by his faith in God, and his prayers to Him.
Psalm 78:47-48 He destroyed their vines with hail, and their sycomore trees with frost. [48] He gave up their cattle also to the hail, and their flocks to hot thunderbolts. (KJV) Israel sinned against Him by provoking the Most High in the wilderness. They tempted God by asking for food other than manna. They spoke against God; Can God furnish a table in the wilderness? (vs 19). This symbolizes the type of unbelief that is seen in believers today’s time. It is absolute rejection of God on the part of His people.
Job 40:9 Hast thou an arm like God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him? (KJV) We can NEVER have God's abundant and amazing power (omnipotence, Isa.53:1). Thunder symbolizes God's voice (Job 37:4).
LIGHTNING. Psalm 77:18 The voice of thy thunder was in the heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook. (KJV) In a fierce storm, volleys of loud booming thunder peal through the skies. Even a deaf person can feel the effects of violent thunder. The whole earth beneath us shakes at its ferocious boom.
Psalm 97:4 His lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled. (KJV) God’s lightning flashes, the Earth sees and trembles.
Jeremiah 10:13 When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures. (KJV) At God’s command the waters far above in the sky beckon at His call. He summons clouds from the ends of the Earth to do as He desires. He makes lightning flash in the rain and sends the wind from His storehouse. Our Creator is an awesome Being whom we simply will never comprehend. Everything is exactly where and how He wants them to be. He never asks you or me for assistance. This is His Universe and He shall do with it as He pleases, when He pleases. May we be wise enough to accept the FACT that He is always in control of ALL things, and always shall be. This verse is repeated in Jer.51:16.
Exodus 19:16 And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled. (KJV) This was when God gave Moses the Law. Thunder, lightning and thick clouds symbolize God’s Presence. Some of the Israelites thought they might see something spectacular, but they did not see anything. They only heard a voice, and it is still true to this day that “No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him” (John 1:18).
Job 37:3 He directeth it under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth. (KJV) Lightning's course zigzags through the broad skies above, commanded by God's all-embracing power. It rolls across the heavens, and His lightning flashes out in every direction. Who of us could control nature? NO one but Almighty God!!
2 Samuel 22:14-16 The Lord thundered from heaven, and the most High uttered his voice. [15] And he sent out arrows, and scattered them; lightning, and discomfited them. [16] And the channels of the sea appeared, the foundations of the world were discovered, at the rebuking of the Lord, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils. (KJV) God thundered from Heaven with a mighty shout. Lightning arrows scattered His enemies. His lightning flashed, and they were dumfounded. Then at the command of the Lord, the bottom of the sea could be seen. This was the crossing of the Red Sea. This to me is awesome! Who but Almighty God could part the sea so that His people could walk across on dry ground?
GOD CONTROLS HIS CREATION
Chapter 6 Wind
WIND. Genesis 8:1 And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged; (KJV) The whole race of mankind, except Noah and his family, were now dead because of their wickedness and unbelief. God’s remembering Noah, was the return of His mercy to mankind. The demands of Divine justice had been answered by the destruction of sinners. God sent His wind to dry the Earth. The same Hand that brought the desolation, would now bring its deliverance. To that Hand, we must forever look. We are given the record not only of the building up of the Flood but also of the prevailing and now the disappearing of the Flood. “God remembered Noah” how marvelous this is! And “God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters assuaged.” It did not happen just overnight. The buildup of the waters took over 150 days, and then there were 261 days in the Flood’s receding. This was something more than just a local flood. God created the Flood by His rain, and He then dried up the Flood with His wind.
Exodus 10:13 And Moses stretched forth his rod over the land of Egypt, and the Lord brought an east wind upon the land all that day, and all that night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts. (KJV) This was the 8th plague on Egypt. God’s east wind brought the locusts.
Exodus 10:19 And the Lord turned a mighty strong west wind, which took away the locusts, and cast them into the Red sea; there remained not one locust in all the coasts of Egypt. (KJV) God’s west wind took the locusts away!
What simply astounds me is that Israel was exempted from six of the 10 plagues of Egypt. God devastated Egypt but Israel was safe. She was safe from the 4th plague of flies (Ex.8:22-23); the 5th plague of murrain (Ex.9:4); the 6th plague of boils (Ex.9:11); the 7th plague of hail (Ex.9:26); the 8th plague of darkness (Ex.10:22-23); and the 10th plague of death to all the firstborns (Ex.11:5-7). Can you comprehend the remarkable and frightening power of Almighty God?
Numbers 11:31 And there went forth a wind from the Lord, and brought quails from the sea, and let them fall by the camp, as it were a day's journey on this side, and as it were a day's journey on the other side, round about the camp, and as it were two cubits high upon the face of the earth. (KJV) God gives them the meat He promised. I can’t even imagine this many quail. The Lord sent a wind that brought quail from the sea, flying three feet above the ground. They landed in the camp and all around it for miles and miles in every direction. God must have a “treasury” of quail too!
Psalm 78:26 He caused an east wind to blow in the heaven: and by his power he brought in the south wind. (KJV) God can cause the wind to blow from any direction, at any time, at any place, and at any strength; from a soft gentle breeze much appreciated on a hot summer’s day, to a devastating hurricane or tornado.
Psalm 107:25 For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof. (KJV) He can simply speak and the winds will rise, stirring up the waves of the vast sea. Or He can speak and make the wind cease (Mark 4:39).
GOD CAN: Raise the wind. Jonah 4:8 And it came to pass, when the sun did arise, that God prepared a vehement east wind; and the sun beat upon the head of Jonah, that he fainted, and wished in himself to die, and said, It is better for me to die than to live. (KJV)
GOD CAN: Change the wind. Psalm 78:26 He caused an east wind to blow in the heaven: and by his power he brought in the south wind. (KJV)
GOD CAN: Stop the wind. Matthew 14:32 And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased. Stops it.
GOD CAN: Gather the wind into His Hand. Proverbs 30:4 Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell? (KJV)
WINDS ARE CALLED:
Tempest. Jonah 1:4 But the Lord sent out a great wind into the sea, and there was a mighty tempest in the sea, so that the ship was like to be broken. (KJV)
Storm. Psalm 83:15 So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm. (KJV)
Stormy wind. Psalm 148:8 Fire, and hail; snow, and vapours; stormy wind fulfilling his word: (KJV)
Windy storm. Psalm 55:8 I would hasten my escape from the windy storm and tempest.
Great and strong wind. 1 Kings 19:11 . . . And, behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains,
Mighty wind. Acts 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. (KJV)
GOD CONTROLS HIS CREATION
Chapter 7 Earthquakes
EARTHQUAKES. Job 9:6 Which shaketh the earth out of her place, and the pillars thereof tremble. (KJV) The Earth is considered, poetically, as resting on pillars, which tremble in an earthquake (Psalm 75:3). The actual truth concerning the Earth is given: Job 26:7 He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing. (KJV)
Psalm 46:2-3 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; [3] Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. (KJV) The fear of mountains or cities suddenly crumbling into the sea haunts many people today. But even if the world ends, we need not fear IF we are God’s obedient children. Even in the face of utter destruction, God’s has the ability to save us. God is our refuge even in the face of total destruction. He is not just a temporary retreat; He is our eternal Refuge and can provide strength in any circumstance.
Jeremiah 4:24 I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly. (KJV) Jeremiah was distressed by the sure devastation of the coming judgment. This judgment would continue until the people turned from their sin and listened to God. Although this prophecy refers to the future destruction by Babylon, it could also describe the judgment of all sinners at the end of the world.
Isaiah 13:13 Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the Lord of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger. (KJV) The Great Tribulation will be a time of worldwide destruction when no “flesh would survive” except for the fact that God will preserve a remnant for Himself.
Zech. 14:4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. (KJV) This is a tremendous statement that is quite literal. The Mount of Olives is literal, Jerusalem is literal. When the Lord Jesus comes, His feet will stand upon the Mount of Olives. When Zechariah says His Feet, he’s talking about Jesus’ Feet. What a time this will be! He is the glorified Christ today. He has nail prints in those Feet, but those Feet left the Mount of Olives when He left this Earth, and He’s coming back to the Mount of Olives when He returns! This is exactly what was told to His disciples. When He ascended, two men in white said, “… Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven” (Acts 1:11). This verse is the fulfillment that will take place in the future. WHEN? In the Day of the Lord, in the time when they are in great trouble, when Jerusalem has been besieged and taken for the last time.
We can clearly see that from this prophecy what is going to happen. When Jesus descends, He will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem. There will be a great earthquake, the moment His Feet touch the Mount of Olives, it will be split in two from east to west by a large valley. Half of the mountain will move north, and half of it south. “Ridiculous” you say! Absolutely not! With God, all things are possible! (Mat.19:26; Mk.10:27).
Matthew 27:54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God. (KJV) Apparently, that Roman centurion, who was in charge of the actual crucifixion, stood beneath Jesus’ cross. As he witnessed some of the miraculous events during this time and as he saw the Lord Jesus give up the ghost, he was certain that this was the Son of God. I truly believe that centurion became a saved man.
Matthew 28:2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. (KJV) The stone was not rolled back so Jesus could get out, but so others could get in and see that Jesus had indeed risen from the dead, just as He had promised.
Mark 13:8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows. (KJV) Famines, diseases, and earthquakes characterize the entire church age, but they will apparently intensify as we draw near to the end of the age. Is this prophecy of Jesus not happening today? Famines, disease everywhere. Earthquakes in more and more places, and more frequent. Jesus says this is just the beginning of the trouble and agony ahead. The Bible says that troubles and famines would come. It is very interesting that this Book, which men have and do despise, is so accurate about everything.
This earthquake seems to be limited to the city of Jerusalem, just as it was when Christ rose from the dead (Matt. 28:2), and also at His crucifixion (Matt. 27:51–52). Seven thousand men were killed in the earthquake. These probably were men of prominence; ones who had gone along with Antichrist, whose names got into the headlines when Antichrist came to power. Whenever God’s work and witnesses are faithful, the devil’s work and witnesses fall. The two witnesses of God during the Great Tribulation certainly will be extremely faithful to God.
Rev. 11:19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail. (KJV) Here there is a temple in Heaven. The tabernacle and temple on Earth was made after the pattern in Heaven (Heb.8:5). “And the temple of God was opened in heaven” means that God is dealing now with Israel. All of this points to the nation Israel, for the church has no temple (Rev.21:22). “Lightnings, and voices, and thunders, and an earthquake, and great hail” speak of judgment yet to come.
Rev. 16:18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. (KJV) People realize that these judgments come from God because they curse Him for sending them. But they still refuse to recognize God’s authority and repent of their sins. Christians should not be surprised at the hostility and hardness of heart of unbelievers. Even when the power of God is fully and totally revealed, many will still refuse to repent. If you find yourself ignoring God more and more, turn back to Him now before your heart becomes too hard to repent; before it’s too late.

Chapter 8 Sea, Oceans
SEA, OCEANS. Genesis 1:10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good. (KJV) God gathered together the waters to create seas, oceans.
Genesis 1:20-21 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. [21] And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. (KJV) God created all kinds of sea creatures that live in the water, and all kinds of birds.
Psalm 95:5 The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land. (KJV) EVERYTHING is His!
Job 26:10 He hath compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end. (KJV) God separated the waters, creating its boundaries.
Job 38:8 Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb? (KJV) Only God could set and keep the boundaries of the sea.
Job 38:10-11 And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors, [11] And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed? (KJV) God locked the sea behind barred gates, limiting its shores; telling it to come no farther.
Psalm 107:25 For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof. (KJV)
Psalm 107:29 He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still. (KJV) God can make either a stormy sea or a calm one.
Exodus 14:16 But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.
Exodus 14:27 And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the Lord overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. (KJV) God can make the sea do whatever pleases Him.
Joshua 4:22-23 Then ye shall let your children know, saying, Israel came over this Jordan on dry land. [23] For the Lord your God dried up the waters of Jordan from before you, until ye were passed over, as the Lord your God did to the Red sea, which he dried up from before us, until we were gone over: (KJV) See Joshua 3 for the crossing of the Jordan River.
2 Kings 2:8 And Elijah took his mantle, and wrapped it together, and smote the waters, and they were divided hither and thither, so that they two went over on dry ground. (KJV)
2 Kings 2:14 And he took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and smote the waters, and said, Where is the Lord God of Elijah? and when he also had smitten the waters, they parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over. (KJV) God parted the Jordan River first for Elijah; then for Elisha to verify that he was Elijah’s successor. God certainly does work in very strange and mysterious ways. Let us acknowledge His power in ALL things.

I could go on and on about our Lord and our God and His absolute wisdom and power. This tiny book couldn’t hold all that God has done and does today and shall do in the future. His control over ALL things means both good and bad, both blessings and judgment. Please consider this fact!
I did not listed any of our precious Lord Jesus’ miracles, for again, this book couldn’t hold them all.
GOD CONTROLS HIS CREATION
Chapter 10 God Unsearchable
GOD UNSEARCHABLE.
Job 5:9 Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvellous things without number: (KJV) God does such great things, far too marvelous to understand. He performs miracles without number. I have tried to reveal this fact in this tiny Bible study booklet.
Job 11:7 Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection? (KJV) Can anyone solve the mysteries of God? Can anyone even begin to discover everything there is to know about the Almighty Creator and Sustainer?
Job 36:26 Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out. (KJV) God is majestic beyond anything we can ever understand. How could we possibly count His years since He is without beginning or end?
Job 37:23 Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict. (KJV) We cannot possibly imagine the power of Almighty God, yet he is so just and merciful that He does not oppress His TRUE children.
Psalm 77:19 Thy way is in the sea, and thy path in the great waters, and thy footsteps are not known. (KJV) His road can lead through the sea, His pathway can go through mighty waters, but His footprints cannot be seen. How can we ever understand Him or examine or explore Him?
Psalm 104:3 Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind: (KJV) He lays out the rafters of His home in the rain clouds. The clouds are His chariot. He walks upon the wings of the wind. Awesome!
Psalm 145:3 Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable. (KJV) Extraordinary is the Lord! He is most worthy of all our praise! His greatness cannot be unearthed or discovered!
Proverbs 30:4 Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell? (KJV) Who but God alone can go up to heaven and come back down again? Who else but God can hold the wind in His fists? Who else but God can wrap up the oceans in His coat? Who but God alone has created this whole wide world? What is His Name? What is His Son's name? There is just one answer to this! God the Father and His only begotten Son, Jesus the Christ.
Eccles. 3:11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end. (KJV) God's ways are as hard to understand as the pathways of the wind, and as mysterious as a tiny baby being formed in a mother's womb. God made everything! We can no more understand what He does than you understand how new life begins in the womb of a pregnant woman.
Isaiah 40:28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary?there is no searching of his understanding. (KJV) No one can measure the depths of His understanding.
Romans 11:33-36 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! [34] For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor? [35] Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? [36] For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen. (KJV) This doxology is a prayer of praise to God for His wisdom. God’s method and means are far beyond our comprehension. We can never fully understand His awesomeness. He governs the entire universe and our lives in perfect wisdom, justice, and love.
1 Cor. 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. (KJV) An unbeliever cannot understand God, nor do they want to! They cannot grasp the fact that God’s Spirit lives in believers. It seems ridiculous to them. Just as a tone-deaf person cannot appreciate fine music, the person who rejects God cannot understand God’s beautiful message. Actually, NO one can comprehend God (above), but through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, believers have insight into some of God’s plans, thoughts and actions. We really do have the mind of Christ. Through the Holy Spirit we can begin to know God’s thoughts, talk with Him and expect Him to answer our prayers. Only a personal, intimate relationship with Christ will give you a mind of Christ.
Psalm 135:6 Whatsoever the Lord pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places. (KJV) Our Creator God is sovereign and does whatever pleases Him, in all Heaven, all Earth, in all the seas, and the creatures in their depths. What we do know about the Lord and His control of ALL Creation, is NOTHING compared to what we do NOT know. He simply is unsearchable!
Jeremiah 31:35-37 Thus saith the Lord, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The Lord of hosts is his name: [36] If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the Lord, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever. [37] Thus saith the Lord; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the Lord. (KJV) I must put this Passage in this chapter. Not only does it clearly state that God and God alone is in charge of ALL nature, but that He is in charge of the government (control, command, law) of ALL the Universe. Only the Lord God can provide the sun to light the day and the moon and stars to light the night. Only He can stir the sea into roaring waves. The heavenly bodies will continue their course as determined by their Creator, according to His will, to the end of time, and the sea shall always obey Him, sometimes violent and raging, other times calm and still.
BUT, this Passage also states something that millions do NOT want to hear! Can anyone measure the heavens? Can anyone measure the foundations of the Earth? You and I both know that is absolutely impossible! NO one can ever do that! The Lord God, Creator of ALL things, emphatically and definitely states that only when the human race can figure out these things, the Jews shall remain His chosen people.
WHY do so many people hate the Jews? WHY have rulers down through history tried to eliminate the Jews as a race, as a nation? God has SO clearly stated in His Book they are special to Him. God made a specific Promise to Abraham.
Genesis 12:2-3 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: [3] And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. (KJV) My friend, God has NOT changed His mind, nor does He ever intend to! God does NOT change! (1 Sam.15:29; Ps.7:12; 15:4; Mal.3:6; Rom.11:29; Jam.1:17). Do you see what God states here? And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee. IF you curse the Jews (or worse), God shall get revenge on you. YOU shall be cursed by God! God will not reject Israel any more than He will do away with the laws of nature!
Please consider what I have said here. And much more important, consider what God has said in Jeremiah 31:35-37.
Many people in many prominent churches today believe in Replacement Theology, which teaches that the Jews are no longer God’s special people. They believe that the Jews have been replaced by the church of today. Do NOT fall for this hog wash! It is NOT true, nor will it ever be true! The Jews are still God’s people. Please do NOT curse them or hate them. It is a big mistake in God’s eyes.
God’s way in the government of the world is hidden from us. Let us make sure that the gates of Heaven shall be opened to us on the other side of death. If this be so, then we need not fear the opening of the gates of death. It is arrogant for us, who cannot discern the breadth of the Earth, to attempt to dive into the depth of God’s design and plan for the Universe.
What foolishness it is to strive against God! It is in our best interest to seek peace with Him, and to stay in His love! He is completely beyond our comprehension in all things: His love, His mercy, His forgiveness, His almighty power, His knowing all things and His wisdom. God truly is unsearchable!
GOD CONTROLS HIS CREATION
Chapter 11 Closing Comments
I would like to close this booklet with thoughts about Migration, which is the movements of animals or birds from one place to another. These movements follow similar routes and return the animals to the same area each time.
WHY do migrations happen? Because some animals need different environments so they can reproduce successfully. The migration cycle is usually the result of the Earth's seasonal changes, climate changes which result in the growth and production of plants, which are ALL under God’s complete control. The change in climate and food availability cause animals to move from areas less suitable for feeding or for raising young, or both, to more suitable regions. So, the extent to which animals migrate depends largely upon the foods they eat, their requirements for reproduction, and the seasonal climate change.
Migrations are sometimes the result of the animal reaching a specific stage in life. Some species of salmon spend most of their lives in salt water, although they are born, reproduce, and die in freshwater streams. After hatching, pink salmon journey from the rivers of Canada and Alaska into the Pacific and may spend most of their lives along the coasts of North Korea, 3,500 miles away. But when they reach sexual maturity, they return to the exact stream of their birth. How does God do this? I don’t know. Do you?
EXAMPLES OF MIGRATION
Migration is probably best known in birds, but it occurs in many forms of animal life, ranging from varied invertebrates to humans. Invertebrates are creatures with no vertebrae. The other group, vertebrates, includes those animals having backbones composed of a series of vertebrae, like fishes, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals.
Insects. Locusts of North Africa and the Middle East are well known for their large-scale movements that may cover from 1,400 to 2,000 miles. Locusts usually move from dry areas to regions of greater rainfall for their food supply.
The migration of monarch butterfly of North America is similar to birds. The monarch has just one food supply, milkweed, which is found in North America from Mexico to southern Canada. When temperatures drop in the fall, monarchs migrate south, where hundreds of thousands of them settle in certain tree groves to spend the winter. They stay in these groves in a slow, inactive state until the following spring, when they return to warm season feeding areas. They can travel 80 miles or more a day.
Reptiles. The green sea turtle, lay their eggs, incubate, and hatch on the ground. All their other life-events take place in the seas. Newly hatched turtles quickly head for the water and return to their hatching site only when they themselves engage in reproduction. These hatching sites are often small and isolated.
Birds. Earthly birds that fly over oceans must cover great distances without rest or food. Pacific golden plovers fly from northern Alaska, Canada, or Siberia to Hawaii in the fall, with distances of more than 2,000 miles. The Arctic tern is the long-distance migratory champion of the animal world, although its migratory flights are partially along coastlines. It nests in the far north of Europe, Asia, and North America and spends the northern winter along the shores of Antarctica.
Penguins are short-legged, birds adapted for swimming underwater. They do not fly, they walk. Emperor penguins travel over 70 miles to their nesting area. The female emperor penguin lays her egg in May and then goes to sea to feed while the male incubates continuously for two months without eating. When the female returns to care for the newly hatched chick, the male goes to sea to eat.
Many smaller birds migrate. When we lived in the state of Pennsylvania, robins left to go south for winter. Here in Texas, when we hear a robin in late fall, we know winter is near.
Geese is another example of birds migrating to warmer climates for winter. Even some tiny hummingbirds migrate over 500 miles, while some of them hitch a ride on larger birds.
Fish. Many fish migrate between fresh water and salt water at various times, including some salmon and trout. Many other types of fish never inhabit fresh water but undertake long migrations at sea. These include tuna and bonito, among others.
In contrast to the salmon, which lives at sea and breeds in fresh water, the European eel spends most of its life in fresh water but breeds, spawns, and hatches in the mid-Atlantic, in the region of the Sargasso Sea. God has His reasons for everything that He does.
Marine Mammals. Northern fur seals migrate annually. Bad weather sends the fur seals south to Asiatic waters.
Whales migrate both to reproduce and for food. The availability of plankton is much greater near the poles, so the blue and humpback whale spend the moderate summers in polar oceans. In winter, they return to tropical waters. In some whales this is the period when the young are born.
Land Mammals. Few earthly mammals undertake the lengthy migrations of the marine mammals. Wildebeests, and some zebras and gazelles, make migrations in direct response to food availability. As the Serengeti dry season progresses, they withdraw to the woodlands until the rains begin again.
Migration Needs. For successful migration, strength and stamina are needed for the journey, also the ability to find the way to the goal. This is all in the Hands of their Creator, and He never lets them down. These creatures know when and in which direction to go. God must give them a built-in compass! Geese, flying in a V formation, always head in the right direction. I have heard of dogs and cats getting lost a great distance from their home, finally arriving home. The love for their “master” is so strong they just keep on keeping on! Many birds seem capable of sensing location and heading by the position of the Sun, but if they are flying over the ocean, there has to be something to guide them at night also. God must equip them with exceptional navigational senses.
Fish supposedly have a good sense of smell to guide them. Salmon can detect small levels of molecules dissolved in water and may be able to identify their home river, simply by its odor. Isn’t it absolutely amazing how God created the creatures, then equipped them completely for their life’s events?
HIBERNATION. Several warm-blooded animals undergo hibernation, so they can withstand cold winters and food shortage. In animals that hibernate, the temperature controls allow body temperatures to drop to just above freezing. The animal's heart rate and breathing are reduced, decreasing demands for food and water. The animal is able to survive for long periods on fat stored in its body. They seek a cave or make a burrow to protect themselves from severe winter temperatures. Rodents such as ground squirrels, marmots, and woodchucks, hibernate, as do shrews, hedgehogs, some bats, and bears. Skunks, pocket gophers, and chipmunks also spend a long time sleeping during winter.
I included this chapter simply to reconfirm the goodness, wisdom and wonders of our majestic and Almighty God. I have not even touched the surface of what could be a tremendous study. There are hundreds of thousands of God’s creatures on Earth and in the seas. Not one creature was randomly made.
God is in total control of ALL His Creation.
Job 38:4-12 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. [5] Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? [6] Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof; [7] When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy? [8] Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb? (KJV)
Job 38:33-36 Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth? [34] Canst thou lift up thy voice to the clouds, that abundance of waters may cover thee? [35] Canst thou send lightnings, that they may go, and say unto thee, Here we are? [36] Who hath put wisdom in the inward parts? or who hath given understanding
to the heart? (KJV)
The TRUTH about SALVATION
How does a person get to Heaven? Some teach that if the good things you do outweigh the bad, God will let you in. That is FALSE! If you believe that, you are headed for Hell (John 3:16, 36; 8:24; 14:6).
There is only ONE Way to Heaven according to the Bible. That is faith in the Blood of Jesus Christ. You could NEVER do enough good deeds in 100 life times to permit you access to Heaven. You could NEVER buy your way to Heaven with all the money in the world. You can NEVER perform enough rituals or sacraments no matter what church you belong to. Faith in Christ is the only way.
The Bible tells us we all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (Rom.3:23). Since God allows nothing bad or evil to enter Heaven (Rev.21:8, 22:15), NO sinner is permitted. We must first believe God, and trust and accept what Jesus did for us on the cross. Only then will the Father credit our account with the righteousness of His Son (1 Cor.1:30; Rom.3:22, 25-26). Only our faith can make us right in God’s eyes, just as Abraham’s faith made him right in God’s eyes all those many years ago (Rom. 3:25-26; 4:3,5-6, 9,22; Gal.3:6).
We have absolutely NO righteousness of our own (Isa.64:6), any righteousness we possess must come through faith in Christ (Philip. 3:9; Rom.5:1-2).
If you think you can EARN your way to Heaven, if you think you can establish your own righteousness, you are 100% wrong! IF you could earn your way to Heaven, then our precious Lord Jesus died for nothing!
Galatians 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. IF we could be saved by keeping the law, or doing good, then there was no need for Christ to die.
God is pure and holy. We are vile sinners, actually we are His enemies. God cannot even look at sin. We must be made “right” in His eyes to have fellowship with Him. Only acceptance of Jesus justifies us, gives us access to the Father and makes us His friends (Rom.5:1-10). There is NO other way! Many say that Way is too narrow (Mat.7:13-14). But friend, that Way is wide enough for the whole world if they choose to walk it!
Many who seek God are confused about what He wants them to do. False teachers give so many answers to this question. But salvation really is simple. Pleasing God does NOT come from any work we do, but from Whom we believe. You must believe Jesus is who He claims to be. We must, like Peter believe He is the Christ, the Son of the living God (Mat.16:16).
John 6:28-29 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? [29] Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. The ONLY “work” God desires of us, is that we believe Him!
Salvation is a Gift (Rom.6:23; Eph.2:8-9)! It is absolutely FREE to “whosoever.” John 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. Only Jesus has the KEY to Heaven! IF we believe in Him, we have everlasting life in Heaven. Believe God! And Heaven is yours! (John 5:24; 8:24; 1 John 5:10-12).
