We serve our Lord and Master willingly with faith, love, honor and gratitude.
We appreciate and thank Him for all He has done for us.

What about people today?

Deut. 31:16 And the Lord said unto Moses, Behold, thou shalt sleep with thy fathers; and this people will rise up, and go a whoring after the gods of the strangers of the land, whither they go to be among them, and will forsake me, and break my covenant which I have made with them. (KJV) God tells Moses, that, after he dies, the covenant between Israel and God, would be broken. Israel would forsake God; then God would forsake Israel. Justly God casts away those who unjustly cast Him away. That goes for Israel and ALL people . . . then and now!!!

1 Chron. 5:24-25 And these were the heads of the house of their fathers, even Epher, and Ishi, and Eliel, and Azriel, and Jeremiah, and Hodaviah, and Jahdiel, mighty men of valour, famous men, and heads of the house of their fathers. [25] And they transgressed against the God of their fathers, and went a whoring after the gods of the people of the land, whom God destroyed before them. (KJV)These were warriors and leaders. They had excellent reputations for their skill and leadership qualities. But in God’s eyes they were failures! They were not faithful to God. When you try to measure up to society’s standards for fame and success, you neglect what God considers important - - - to please and obey Him. On Judgment Day, only God alone, NOT society, shall examine our hearts and determine what we deserve. Do you worship any idols?

Psalm 73:27 For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee. (KJV) Just as God destroyed the Jews for idolatry, so too shall He destroy ALL those who commit idolatry in today’s world. Believe it!

Hosea 6:10 I have seen an horrible thing in the house of Israel: there is the whoredom of Ephraim, Israel is defiled. (KJV) The Word of God will be one or the other: #1 the death of sin OR #2 the death of the sinner. God desires mercy rather than sacrifice and He wants us to have knowledge of Him. He wants us to offer the sacrifice of praise to Him (Heb.13:15), NOT to some idol, some worldly pleasure. God hates idolatry! He hated it in the Old Testament - - - He hates it NOW! He wants us to have knowledge of Him, which produces holy fear and love. May the Lord put His love into our hearts, and set up His Kingdom within us, for if He deserts us, we will surely be overcome by temptation.

Matthew 12:39But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: (KJV) Jesus' words.The Pharisees (Jewish leaders) were asking for another miracle, but they were not wanting to know Jesus. They had already seen enough miracles that should have convinced them that He was the Messiah; but their hearts were hard as a rock. Many people today have said, “If I could just see a real miracle, then I could really believe in God.” People flock after all the stupid, worthless so-called “signs” of today. Jesus’ words to the Pharisees applies to today! We have an abundance of evidence - - - Jesus’ birth, His death, His resurrection, His ascension, and centuries of His work in believers around the world. Yet people refuse to believe what God states about His Son (1 John 5:10-12), and go whoring after ridiculous “gods” in the world. God hates idolatry! BEWARE!!!

James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. (KJV) Are you an adulterer? Are you an adulteress? IF you are, God shall bring down judgment upon you - - - and you will NOT like His verdict! Millions today, world-wide, are “friends of the world” and IF you have friendship with the world, you are an enemy of God! IF you compromise the Truth of the Bible in ANY way, you are a friend of the world. BEWARE!!! Believe me, you do NOT want to be God’s enemy (Rom.5:10).
